Nitro tap, so you get the cascading black beer below a solid white head.

Sweet roast notes dominate the nose. Coffee and maybe a hint of chocolate.

Seems like the flavor might be somewhat diminished by the nitro. I can tell that its a big beer, but not as big as the name and ABV promises. Mostly sweet flavor, some bitter roast.

The nitro on such a heavy beer wasn't that great, full bodied, and smooth, but seemingly artificially so.

Wow. Some real work went into the creation of this brew. From a snifter. Nitro-tap gave a dark presentation with a small caramel colored head of foam on top. Strong aromas of roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate and malts. Taste was complex and well rounded; flavors of coffee, roasted malts, unsweetened chocolate, roasted grains and a touch of wood blended really well. Mouthfeel was heavy and dense, but not at all sticky or syrupy. Nice job there. Drinkability is only average. It's potent, and it's good, but only one every now and then should be enough. Recommended.
