Get ready to bask in the glory of the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the citrus accents from the abundance of dry hopping. This one’s sweet, yet balanced. Malty undertones shake hands with the hop character for a finish that never turns too bitter.

No idea how I have never reviewed this beer let alone not even have a rating. It’s been a while since I’ve had it but over the years I’ve had it on draft and out of bottles and cans. This review is from a can a little over a month old. Pours a medium amber with almost two fingers of sandy colored foam head. I get more malt than anything else on the nose. Some light citrus and grassy aromas but mostly malt forward on the nose. Taste is more balanced than the nose. There is the maltiness of that but also more citrus and light pine. It’s not the most complex IPA out there but it’s super solid. On sale, it’s $15 for a 15pk so a dollar a can before tax isn’t bad. Mouthfeel is superb. Thick and malty with good carbonation. Again, solid stuff. Still can’t believe I had not reviewed this beer.

Centennial IPA
---Founders Brewing Co.
Look: 4.0 l 5.0
Deep amber turning orange and there's orange hue in the head ---SRM ~10 to It's gorgeous and has a kiss of haziness probably from the dry hops or maybe a little residual protein. In any case, this adds to its character and charm.
Smell: 4.0 l 5.0
It's befitting a pine tree ... My brain says "West Coast All The Way!". There are some additional aromas behind that.though ---Probably citrus and lime.
Taste: 4.5. l 5.0
it's actually quite fruity and It's got some berry in the palate. The nose was saying West Coast and I was waiting for that hard bitter crushing drop, but it didn't really come. Don't get me wrong. ---there's definitely a bitter end note to this one, but it doesn't come out right away. This is really good beer, and there are a number of layers to it.
Mouth feel: 4.0 l 5.0
Body is just beyond medium, It's full, and it's sweet. --there's some acidity with some sweetness and good aromas: berry, citrus, and some tangy lime.
Overall: 4.25 l 5.0
This is a modern IPA. If we're calling this West Coast ---It ain't old school "Pine Tar IPA". This one has an outstanding hop profile (Centennial you say?). I'll have another please!
Overall: 4.25 l 5.0
Nose was intriguing and frankly a little bit intimidating, but from the first sip we were friends. I like this beer a lot --- I've had a number of Founders beers, and so far all are very appealing.

Like another guy noted, I first tried this beer because it was $18 for a 15 pack. Liked it so much that I keep coming back. Founders rarely misses, just a great hearty taste and presentation.

thick and rich both in taste and feel. the suds hang around longer than expected and the look is very translucent, even a bit cloudy and hazy. it’s not a double but it has all the depth, sweetness, buttery, pine and complexity you’d expect from one.

I first bought this partially because the price was reasonable and it was a 15 pack. Turns out it tastes good so I keep buying it.. Nice body, good flavor, goes down good. I grew up near a city (German/Irish) with several local breweries that actually had some flavor, so drinking a bland beer just wasn't and isn't an option. My only complaint is sometimes I get a can (all I can get here) seems over carbonated? Learned to have the glass ready or suck off some suds quickly.
If you like a beer that has character, doesn't taste like glorified water, give it a try. It is rated outstanding for a reason.

Founders Centennial IPA presents with a a rich bronze pour below a beige, serious bona fide head. IPA hop nose is fresh. Firm stab of the IPA bitter, presents appropriately for its class. Resign taste on the tongue only charm and tease - in no way cloy, what is a complex brew. This creation is formidable, contains excellent warmth from the 7.2%, and requisite carbonated release - along with a nuanced texture and tingling mouthfeel. Sticky lacing for the duration in the glass. Enjoyable. Cannot go wrong with this beer. Semi dry finish.

My absolute #1 everyday go to beverage. Nice body and mouthfeel with a good malty backbone that grabs your attention & doesn’t let go. Also the best value on the market. 15pk usually around $20

The first IPA I have intentionally bought at a grocery store. Normally a brown or red fan, I found this to be very, very, very tasty. So much so that I went and bought some All-Day IPA by the same brewery. I thought the All Day IPA was better. Both are quite good though.

Hazy copper body with a huge, creamy, tan head, mostly lasting with some nice lacing; high density of tiny particles.
Moderate-to-heavy hoppy (orange, grapefruit) and light-to-moderate malty (caramel) aroma with some notes of fruits and spices.
Moderate bitter and light sweet flavour with an average-lasting bitter finish.
Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.
