Serving - Bottle poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass

Appearance - A deep amber with a two finger head with very nice lacing as it settles. It is crystal clear and clean with low carbonation.

Smell - Very nice on the nose. A little pine but a lot of citrus. Very grapefruity and tropical.

Taste - Very drinkable. Not too bitter. Hops up front, citrus and pine leading the way. The malt backbone lingers on the tongue a little bit in the finish.

Mouthfeel - NIce and full. Not quite creamy but close. A touch of bitterness on the sides of the tongue.

Overall - Quite enjoyable. The citrusy hops made this one very nice. I would readily drink it again but not go out of my way for it. I am happy I bought it in a 6 pack and not a single.

First time having a beer from Founders.

Poured into pilsner glass.

A-dark amber/orange color with a nice white head.

S-nice grapefruit aroma with hops.

T-taste of pine notes and orange spice taste.

M-resiney bitter but well rounded finish.

Overall a great IPA

Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint glass. Bottled on 4/11/14, still I believe in the range to be reviewed, the sixer was in the fridge at the grocery store.

A- Pours medium burn orange that is slightly hazy. Has a small white head that sticks around, maybe a bit lower carbed than most IPAs.

S- Classic Centennial smell of orange and floral with some light tropical notes. Some light pine as well. Very similar to Two Hearted just slight less bright IMO.

T- More floral than the nose, orange, not getting the light tropical notes, pine, light toasted malt finish, the bitterness is a bit harsher than in Two Hearted.

M- Medium

O- This is a great IPA but it doesn't quite have the hop punch of Two Hearted. Plus the malt is a bit more noticeable and the bitterness is a bit harsher, I know they use Magnum for bittering. Still vary good though.
