Sinopia with a creamy off white head that crusts up the sides and leaves big wedges of lace plus a stream of bubbles up the middle.
Fresh leaf and tangerine hop nose with a touch of caramel.
Toffee-peach crumble, some banana creme pie esters with dank, orangey, resiny hops.
Bright papaya and orange twist finish and ringing herbal linger.
Medium, plenty chew, creamy, slight warmth.

That's Centennial, all right, and probably the best of it: all the depth and stickiness without the harsh grapefruit pith. And there's balance from a solid malt presence and the usual Founders craftsmanship. But for a one hop brew, it's maybe just a bit sweet, a bit full, and a bit warming.

Not quite fresh enough (BBD: 6/26/14, so 3 months old) or just plain sacrilege, but All Day is the funner beer.

A- a deep amber/copper. Big creamy white head lasts and leaves lacing. A few bubbles of carbonation.

S- big hops aromas of citrus and pine. A hint of the malt backbone hangs out in the back.

T- the aroma is mirrored in the taste. The big citrus flavor of the hops comes through, balanced nicely by the malt's supporting role.

M- thinner but not weak. Feels nice on the palate.

O- a great big flavor IPA. Everything works in this beer.

A decent IPA, I have had good and bad examples of this beer. Very good when fresh. Nice color and body to balance the hops. Seems to be hit or miss on freshness the further you are from MI. Hopefully the future cans will hold up better. Like al IPAs, fresher is better.
