The appearance, smell and taste of this IPA is right up there with some of the more well known ones. I don't find the bitterness too high if your looking for it in your IPA but it's a well balanced beer with a good lasting head. Nice beer wouldn't even know it packed 7.2 ABV.

A - Pours a Golden Brown, with good clarity and a finger of fluffy white head. Nice retention and super sticky lace.

S - Huge floral bouquet, fruity, citrus, oily, fresh.

T - Nice hoppy punch, followed by a nice mellow and malty finish. This has a silky smooth mouth feel and drinks dangerously easy.

O - One of the best American IPAs on the market - I keep this in the fridge regularly and is a great staple.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Bottle code 1421053131714.

Pours nearly clear amber, slight orange tinge, little head but dissipates slowly. Little active carbonation. Smell is grassy, orangey, a little bit spicy, a little bready.

Taste is orange blossomy, bready, a little lemon, some honey sweetness. Some hoppy characteristics, but not a lot of bitterness.

Mouthfeel is nice, full, soft and pleasant. Overall, this is a good beer.

12oz bottle into standard pint glass

Looked superb, a clear orange/amber color, with 2-3 fingers fluffy white head which maintained. Lacing was very full, and also maintained. Just a great looking glass.

Nose was hops, a touch on the fruity side

This just tastes great! Hops are both bitter and fruity, leaning more to the bitter side, but still a great balance. Really goes down well.

Mouth is a little to the minus side of medium.

Overall, this is just an outstanding IPA, far ahead of All Day. In fact, only the 7.2abv would prevent it from being an all-day IPA. But perhaps a half-day IPA. Thoroughly recommend this beer.
