for this "session" style this one is my favorite. It holds up in the can & bottle far longer than it has a right to, always bright & citrucy thirst quencher that can go any where. Have a few & not worry about getting filled up or too silly. Great pick!

Great smell, great taste. You really could drink this stuff all day long. Powerful citrus smell and flavor. Not overly hoppy. Well balanced. Can't wait to have it again.

Appearance is a nice clear amber with a little haze and not much head. Nose is super floral and citrus--yum. Mouthfeel is thin to medium. Taste is a delightful hoppy bitter at first then a solid malt after taste as well. This has quickly become my current session ale of choice--it's just delightful!

Wanted to try this pale ale with an IPA taste.

A - Vibrant orange color with course small white head. No lacing. Very clear.

S - Strong hop nose. Full of citrus, some pine, and light floral. Very light grain smell.

T - Has all the hops from the smell with lots of citrus on the front and some pine. Light complimenting grain flavor but definitely hoppy. Very crisp light finish with nice hop bitterness.

M - Light mouth-feel with some graininess. Has some bitterness but is mostly clean on the finish. Light carbonation.

Overall, a deliciously flavored IPA with the body of a light lager. I love the hops and the nice graininess makes for a delicious brew. Perfect if you don't like overly bitter or malt heavy IPA's . It's from the Midwest but seems like it should be from the Pacific NW. I could drink these for ever!

Smells great very floral and citrusy, taste is extremely drinkable hence the All Day IPA. My only complaint, if there is one is I could have used a little more bitterness, but all in all a top notch beer.

Wow this beer is good. Aside from the rarer Green Flash "Citra Session", this is by far the best session IPA I've tasted.

Appearance is hazy and golden. Aroma is bursting with citra but not overwhelming. Taste matches the smell. Perfect blend of lemon, orange, and grapefruit. Lightly floral. Unbelievably refreshing. What really makes this beer great is the mouth feel. Highly carbonated. Almost like drinking an orange soda. Minimal bitterness.

OVERALL: Citra is my favorite hop. I love an IPA that makes you pucker. This beer is an ode to those who love citra. Incredibly refreshing and bursting with citrusy floral goodness. Personally, one of my top 5 favorite IPAs (Also a great transition beer for those who are new to IPAs)

A- Dark yellow/light orange with a thin head that doesn't lace.

S- Tropical fruit, Citrus, Pine, Funk, and fresh apple aromas. It smells clean and refreshing.

T- Slightly sweet upfront with a burst of tropical fruit. Citrus and pine make an appearance in the middle followed by a mellow bitter finish.

M- Medium-light bodied with low carbonation. It is also slick on the tongue.

O- A very tastey and refreshing beer. It's the perfect beer when you're craving flavor but not an abundance of bitterness or alcohol.

I've tried MANY session IPA's but I have to say that this was the best. Great flavor profile and highly drinkable. I wish Founders was easier to find in Maryland! (I had this beer while on a business trip in Chicago)

This is my favorite IPA right now. It has a very sharp flavor and is obviously very hoppy, but well balanced. I really like that it is a session beer so it is lower in alcohol, making it more enjoyable to drink multiple because a lot of IPAs right now are fairly high in ABV.

A: Crisp, clear IPA with little head. There is a small island of soapy white foam in the middle of mine and barely a ring around the edges. Looks lively with bubbles streaming to the top. Light amber body.

N: Having not expected much out of the nose on this one since it is only 40 or so IBUS, I was VERY pleasantly surprised. Straight up west coast grape fruit hoppiness, tropical fruits, a bit of caramel.

T: Very good. Again, with economy model the elements are--such as the IBUS and ABV, I'm pleasantly surprised. Very refreshing, which was to be expected--but also very flavorful. A little toned-down but you get the same floral, grapefruit, perfume character on the taste that you get on the nose. Just slightly subdued.

M: Crisp, clean, refreshing. Perfect for a camping trip, which the bottle seems to depict :)

Sidenote: I just want to say that I'm glad that Founders has made a really good, complex, flavorful beer that I can take to a BBQ or other outdoor long-lasting event and not be a mess. The ABV race to the top gets annoying to craft beer drinkers who want to kick back and enjoy a few but are often limited to splitting a 12 oz. bottle and that's it (unless you want to get sloshed).

Bitter but not as "hoppy" as one would come to expect from an IPA. Not as high of ABV than other IPAs but has very distinct flavors. Good but not great.

Founders All Day IPA brewed by Founders Brewing Company, with an ABV of 4.70% This brew pours out a nice amber color with a a nice white head. This brew has a nice look to it, the look is real inviting. The smell of Founders All Day IPA, is rich with hops, grains, malts. There is also a nice sweetness at the end of this brew. Now for the taste, it is nice and crisp. You pick up a nice mildness of hops, grains and malts. I like how this brew is different from most IPA's on the market. This is one of the smoother IPA's that I have had. The mouthfeel of Founders All Day IPA is , smooth, rich and refreshing. Founders All Day IPA, has a nice balance to it, there is nothing overpowering about this brew. I like how smooth this brew is. I could drink this all day. Overall I'm giving this brew a 4.25 out of 5. Founders Brewing Company, did a nice job with this one. I would buy this brew again.

For the style. Fairly aggressive pour, two fingers of head. A Hazy, quite yellow look. I was really impressed with the aroma of this beer. Lots of pine and citrus as with a lot of IPAs but this is a 'session' and still it really jumped right out of the glass. It just smelled rich and super fresh. The taste was perfect for a session IPA because you get a solid dose of hop flavor, slightly bitter, and then it's gone. The feel is refreshing and light. The malt was there just enough but the hops stand out by comparison. The calories are reasonable at 141, if that is a concern, and the lower ABV (4.7) would make this beer a good option if you want flavor but not a big buzz. Will definitely buy again.

A- Pours a hazy peach golden color with a few streams of rising carbonation. The white head is thin and creamy with nice retention and leaves some nice lacing.

S- Peach, mango, pineapple, pine, and grass. Aromatic and very appealing.

T- Piney hops, with a nice malt backing. There is some nice fruitiness as well. Light on the finish.

M- The carbonation is nice and keeps it light. Just a bit of lingering bitterness.

O- A very well made beer that drinks incredibly well. Very tasty. This is going to be consumed a lot in the summer.

Pours a pale amber with a quickly dissipating off-white head. Zero lacing. Aroma is spectacular for a session! Perfect blend of pine and grapefruit with malt. The taste did not match the aroma...somewhat piney, slightly bitter with a malt profile. The feel is light/medium bodied. Medium high carbonation with a dry finish. Overall this is a great example of the style right out of the can, perfect for drinking in the summer.

My first Founders brew doesn't disappoint one bit. I'd consider this a solid and satisfying IPA without the "session" modifier. That said, it would be hard to find a better session beer of ANY kind, especially pale ale or IPA. Will be seeking this one out again.

Poured into a Tulip.

Appearance. Dark golden color. Pours with 2 fingers of head that slowly dissipates to a layer of tight bubbles on top of the beer. Lots of effervescence.

Smell. Floral, slightly citric, herbal and grassy. So much here, hops wise.

Taste. Starts out, and continues to be surprisingly dry. A moderate resinous, piney and floral bitterness builds. Grapefruit and other citric flavors join the floral notes as the pineyness fades. At the same time a slightly herbaceous, or even medicinal and grassy flavors join the citrus and floral notes. The finish is dry, crisp and refreshing. Very little, to almost no malt backbone to speak of.

Mouthfeel. Light body, effervescent carbonation and very dry as stated before.

This beer is insanely drinkable, while at the same time being one of the most uniquely hopped beers I have ever tasted. There are so many of the standard hop flavors that you usually find in IPAs, This one just combines them all in one beer.

Bought a 12 fl oz bottle of this from Bruisin Ales in Asheville, NC for $2. Poured from the Bright Colored bottle w/ a Station Wagon carrying a Kayak & "Session Ale" below the brand into a non-stemmed Wine Glass. Has BOTTLED 12/26/11 on the front of the bottle.

Aroma- Has an intense citrus and grassy aroma from the beginning. Seems as if this was just brewed yesterday! Very fresh and may have been a bit dry hopped?

Appearance- Pours a 1 finger head that dies quickly. Has a clear, golden colored body and leaves a sudsy lacing behind.

Flavor- A HUGE hop punch hits hard from the start. Grapefruit and other sweet, citric fruits pop out and gives it a strong hop presence all the way through. Has a light-medium hop bitterness level at the end. Wonderful!

Mouthfeel- Light-Medium Bodied, Medium Carbonation, Smooth, and a mixture of fruit is left behind with light hops.

Overall Impression- A perfect example of this style! Didn't expect anything less from Founders. This is my first time seeing this brew from them and am wondering why?? Maybe it wasn't offered in the Missouri Market the past 2 years? Either way, looking for more! I suggest you do the same.

Deep golden color with dull white head.

Light aroma of sweet malt with an herbal and resinous hop bouquet. Mild and quite pleasant.

Flavors of toasty malt (a tiny barely perceptible note of butterscotch too) and floral, woodsy hops.

Light to medium body with a dry chewy malt flavor that really leaves an impression and yet finishes quick and clean. Mild hop bitterness in the finish that mainly balances the malt in a very clean, quick, yet memorable way.

A great session beer. All day indeed.

Light amber with a fluffy head and pine and grapefruit aromas. The taste is pretty awesome--lots of grapefruit and citrus, some floral, a bit of pale malt backing, but with a strong bitter finish that resembles heavier IPAs. Just about flawless in execution.

I've become a lightweight since losing a lot of weight last year, so I can see this beer becoming my savior, the one that lets me keep up with my boyfriend without becoming a slurring mess. Love this beer.

I have decided that this is the official beer of Summer 2016. It's great on a hot day after being active in the outdoors. Very refreshing, with mild hops bitterness that is not overpowering.

Endurance ale is served up a perty medium golden amber. As is often the case at the taproom, they gave me little head with the pour, but the small gatherings of foam I see are white and the beer does leave some traces of lace on the sides of the glass.

This brew has an enjoyable hop aroma with a bit of toasty malt and some caramel to accent it. The hop aromas consist of tropical fruit and dank pine mixed with a floral bouquet and a bit of lemongrass. The nose is understated perhaps, but also very nice.

The flavor is super tasty with the hops leading the way. I am picking up a bit more pine in the flavor, but that nice soft floral character from the aroma is still a major player. Endurance has plenty of bitterness, but is just shy of having too much. The malt seems quite a bit more subdued in the flavor, except for a bit of toastyness.

The body is fairly thin and the mouthfeel almost watery. This would be a bad thing if not for the fact that this is obviously made to be sessionable. It finishes pretty effortlessly, leaving some hop bitterness on the tongue.

I think the best way to describe the drinkability would be with an anecdote. My good friend and fellow BA TCGoalie lives in GR and frequents the tap room with his wife. They have a favorite server, who once described this beer as "crushable" while making a beer guzzling gesture. That is exactly what this beer is. A hop lover like me could crush these like a frat boy would BMC, and enjoy every minute of it. I am a sucker for hoppy pale ales, and this one was right up my alley.

The name "All Day" IPA is quite accurate, this beer definitely packs the hops seasoned IPA drinkers love, but it's just a bit lighter on the hop and citrus side. Just enough to make this IPA not too bitter on the pallet over time, not tongue-numbing and quite sessionable.

bottle into tulip glass

appearance: light golden color, with bubbly white head

smell: grapefruit, apple, citrus, lemon, earthy hops

taste: Follows the nose, very grapefruit and pineapple forward. While a session IPA, and lighter on the palate than most, this is packed full with flavor. Not really sure how they load this with so much hops and feels so full yet is still only 4.7%. Very smooth, very drinkable, a well balanced flavorful 'light' IPA. Not a whole lot of malt action going on here.

mouthfeel: very smooth, high carbonation, for how light this beer is it feels very full bodied (sort of an oxymoron, hard to explain, just drink one)

overall: Founder's created the ultimate session IPA. I was hesitant to buy a sixer because I like my beers, especially IPAs, heavy and high in alcohol and hops. I just didn't think this could compare, but I stand corrected. Massive flavor, well balanced, satisfying to a huge hophead like myself, I am pleasantly surprised and will be buying this a lot more in the future. I can't figure out how they got so much hoppiness into such a light IPA, but they did.
