Tulip glass.

A: Pours black with a few cm of quickly dissipating head. Nice retention of the ring.

S: Roasted coffee, a bit of dark chocolate, a little baker's spice on the back end. Decently balanced.

T: Dense, highly roasty with some charred notes, a little overwhelming which is accentuated by the dryness. Overall this is quite aggressive for a porter, more so than I'd prefer.

M: Nice mouthfeel. Medium carbonation and carbonation.

O: The taste isn't really there for me: too dry and aggressively roasty for a porter.

I am a Stout, and RIS lover, butI am liking Porters more and more!

Appearance- black pour little to no head.

Smell-medium roasted coffee no off putting odor. Inviting.

Taste- Medium overall coffee up front hints chocolate. Pleasant malted finish not too heavy, dry.

Mouthfeel- Ample bodied. Carbonation is low. Rich and creamy, i am loving American Porters More and More did I mention that?...yes!

Overall- I enjoyed this Porter very much I cant wait to try more of Founders Stouts and Imperial Stouts. I hope I stumble on to one of their limited suppy. Thanks Founders, you are on my short list.:)

Appearance- Jet black body with a short khaki head.

Smell- Rich coffee, slight smoke, sweet fudge and just a hint of sour.

Taste- Bitter coffee up front with sweet chocolate following close behind. Roasted malt gets stronger towards the end. Aftertaste is dry and smokey.

Mouthfeel- Between medium and full bodied. Carbonation is low. Rich and creamy, perfect for a porter.

Overall- Delicious full bodied porter, recommended if you love dark beers.
