Subtle chocolate and Carmel with hop scent. Rich taste not quit coffee or Carmel, possibly toffee. Not sticky or cloying, refreshing for the style. Magnificent beer

Jet black pour from a 12 oz bottle. Not much head. Aromas are muted. Bitter molasses on the tongue. Full body, yet medium mouth feel. Overall, a mid range Porter.

Cannot understand America's obsession with fruity, hoppy IPAs when there are dark gems like this porter. What a great beer.

My first time trying a porter and I really enjoyed it.
Full body, smooth, and as it sat in my glass I thought the flavors enhanced.

Not the boldest flavored porter one can find, but oh so elegant and refined. Made for savoring, not gulping, overall a well crafted beer.

Overall pretty good, nothing that really stood out but the common sweet taste that I like from these porters/ stouts

Poured out of a bottle into a tulip. Pours jet black with a thin creamy tan head. Smells swee toasty nut, with malt and chocolate. Taste same with an excellent hop hit gives a full body and flavor. Enough hop to the resonate into nose. Mouthfeel nearly perfect with a hoppy porter. Beer happiness. One of my favorit porters!

3 month old bottle into a tulip.

L -- Poured jet black, middle-of-the-glass pour created 2-finger thick, dark tan head. Reduced down to a ring, minor amount of lacing left behind.

S -- Roasted, slightly charred bready malts; slight chocolate notes.

T -- Roasted malts provides a lot of depth, spanning from slightly burnt to charred back to light roast. Bitterness adds balance to the light sweetness provided by malts.

F -- Full bodied with enough carbonation to keep it flowing. Rich, creamy, smooth.

O -- Go-to porter for me for now. Hard to beat in terms of value.

By far the best beer I have ever had. Definitely the best American porter there is hands down. Silky smooth, luscious mouth feel that is absolutely perfect combined with dark enticing flavors of roasted coffee, grain, and chocolate. This is now my go to beer.

Deep mahogany brown and opaque with a half inch of frothy light brown foam. Aroma of cocoa and toasty malt, hints of smoke and leather.

Rich and complex flavors of richly roasted malt, not bitter, hints of smoke and leather, espresso and charred bark. Full and creamy mouthfeel. Really nice beer.

Great beer. Very nice rich mouthfeel with pretty tasty coffee notes. The hop flavor still really comes through in this beer, and it's got great flavor

Stronger licorice flavor than expected but otherwise a nice smooth, full-bodied porter.
