Style: American Pale Ale (APA)

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 5.50%

Notes / Commercial Description:
Mosaic Promise showcases two unique ingredients: Mosaic hops and Golden Promise malt. The versatility of the hop’s pleasing aroma and flavor characteristics and the traditional barley’s depth of flavor comprise this clean, rich, golden beer. We can brew complex beers with the best of them, but we recognize that there is also beauty in simplicity.

I like the single hop beer idea. It allows you to really get the idea of a hop variety. Mosaic brings a hefty rind'ey almost ammonia like, cat-piss on the palate.

Truly a perfect beer. Such balance. The aroma is phenomenal! Truly the perfect SMaSH example from a craft brewery. The beer I always try to get close to when brewing my IPA's at home. Powerful Founders!

Bottled on 10/12/15.

Who the fuck, how the fuck, who fuckin, fuckin fuck the what the fuck, when did the fuckin...

Apologies for the swearing but holy mother of freshness!! This beer is awesome! So here goes the review after this short dramatization. Thank you for your attention.

This beer pours a pale straw color with a moderate head retention. Beautiful lacing is apparent around the glass.

Smells of beautiful floral, straw like hops, with light bready malts. As a 12 year veteran of craft beer, This is my first experience with an all mosaic hopped beer and it's been an eye opener.

Tastes of the freshest malt and hops. The mosaic hop variable is very floral and very pronounced. I would love to see more breweries do the single hop brew. It really tastes fucking awesome and I wish I bought a case instead of a 6 pack.

Honestly I don't feel the need to even give you mouthfeel and overall because I can't even do a justice. This beer is awesome so go out and try it fresh. If it tastes like wet cardboard or Madeira/port wine then go to a different bottle shop. Drink this one fresh and enjoy the hell out of it because this is one of the best beers you will ever see in this revolution of craft beer.

This beer pours a clear straw with large, very bubbly head. The aroma offers up guava, passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, fresh pine, and resin. The sip starts with tropical fruit, especially that yummy guava, rounding out to grapefruit, and ending in a solid bitter resin flavor. The mouthfeel is bright a refreshing with just a touch of fullness. Overall this is a spectacularly good beer. I do love mosaic hops more than any other, so take this with a grain of salt, but I find this beer fantastic.

Crisp fresh feel. Bitterness borderlines with IPA. Bit of a citrusy to the flavor. Great pale ale
