Basically in Harvard Square. Had a hell of a time finding it because I was walking to John Harvard's from Cambridge Brewing Company. When you first enter there stairs lead down to the dining area and bar. Its dark with a ton of dark stained wood. Very English pub like feeling.

It was the middle of a Saturday afternoon so it was pretty empty. Service was quick and courteous, but I don't know what it would be like if it was crowded. They must have been cleaned out of beer because there was only 5 beers on tap. They were out of their Pilsner too. Their pale ale was good, but nothing special. The stout was too bland and the West Side Wheat....what can you say, just like any other american wheat beer. The only really good beer I had there was the Midwinter's Russian Imperial Stout.

Food, just ordered some pretzels. For $4 you get 3 giagantic pretzels, it was one damn good deal. The price of the beer was on par with other places.

Overall: I'm not sure what to think of this place. The beer didn't stand out, and that was the only reason I wanted to go. If I'm back in town, I might stop by again.

Stopped here before Harvard's home opener v Holy Cross in September. It was average. They had a beer from most styles on the menu and my wife and I both chose to go with the all seasonal harvest ale. Food was average. Cant go wrong with a burger but nothing to write home about.
