Not a bad place. Decent vibe. Beer is what I went for but as others have stated, this place has a nice walk-in humidor. Employees are always nice and wanting to help. My biggest gripe is most beer is refrigerated. Maybe I am a beer snob but I prefer warm beer so I can refrigerate and drink as wanted. I often cellar stouts, Belgium's, high ABV porters etc. Still, if your in the area and are looking for a good selection of craft beer this is not a bad choice.

Their beer guy is highly knowledgeable and will not steer you wrong. He's there more often than not. The only reason I'm not giving 5's across the board is because their great seasonal beers sell out faster than others (probably because of a larger fan base in this community). This is my go to place.

If you like craft beers, this is a great place to check out. They have a few hundred different 6 packs, all refrigerated. Many hard to find and limited release beers. If cigars are your thing, they have a large walk in humidor and a good selection of wines to go with it.

They do have a beer expert that can help you select new beers that are in line with your tastes. However he is not there all the time. Also, they do have a build your own 6 pack station (love it) but check the dates on the bottles since I have gotten a few bottles that were past their prime.

That being said, it's a great place for beer lovers. Give it a try.

The store is clean and neat with a large selection of wine, spirits, beer, and cigars. I almost didn't make it to the beer cooler; as I was lured into the large walk in cigar humidor.

The beer selection is not the largest that Ive seen but they have so many great choices. Including several hard to find/trade-able beers. Their focus seems to be craft beers but they have a fair selection of Belgian, German, and South American beers also. Their prices were in line with state minimum pricing.

This store is a little bit out of my way, but Ill be back for sure. They have all my vices covered.

I'm going to make this short and sweet. If your around the area, stop in and see Nick the owner. He is very helpful and informative about all his wine, tobacco and of course the beers. All beers are refrigerated and the select imo was awesome. Founders, all of Bell's, Stone, Southern Tier, New Hollands, Great Divide, all of Great Lakes, Bunch of Belgiums and so on. Best of all the prices are reasonable from bombers starting at $3.99 to $7.99 and six packs running at normal prices. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.

If your looking for this place, outside it's called Wine Shop but inside and on their website it's called Dee Vine Wine. It's located in a plaza next to a Photography stuido, Mitchell's Ice Cream, Hollywood Video, and Panera Bread. Inside the shop is very clean with a large selection of wine, tobacco, and of course beer. They keep all of their beer in a refrigerator no matter if it's a micro or macro. Their service is good because when your looking at the beer someone always asks if you need help with your beer selection. They have an excellent selection of Belgian beers like Chiamy, Saison DuPont, Gulden Draak, St. Bernardus, and more. Not only do they have Belgian beers, they also have an excellent selection of imports and micros. Here are some examples: Aecht Schlenkerla, Thomas Hardy's Ale, Celebrator, Three Floyds, Stone, Great Lakes, Great Divide, Avery, and more that I forgot to mention. They also have macros like Bud and Miller but in the back of the store. Their prices can be high, but what do you expect for such good beers. If your ever in Westlake and in the mood to buy some expensive beers, then stop on in.

Edit on 8/5/06: It's almost been a year since my last review. Anyway, the last time I was there they still have some Avery Anniversary, Founders, New Holland's High Gravity Series, a nice line of Weyerbacher bombers, Great Divide bombers, whole line of different Stone beers, tons of different styles of Bell's beers, and it's one of the few places that carries Christian Moerlein. They still have 3 Floyds, but only in the 6 packs. I didn't see any St. Bernardus, but there were some other Belgians in it's place. Don't get your hopes up if you happen to read on their website that they carry Smuttynose, they don't ship to Ohio yet. Still a nice place to go to if you're in the area.
