Notes: From our Hybrid series, Redact is a red lager whose crisp & delicate mouthfeel is balanced by the addition of 'red' malts, giving notes of sweet toffee & molasses, and the aromatic punch of Citra & Calypso hops introduced during the long conditioning period.

Beautiful clean copper color, off-white foam, solid.
American hops in the smell, not excessive, and a malty note tending to toasted and toffee. Light floral.
More toasted and toffe in the taste, almost tending to light coffee, with intriguin orange notes.
Malty but not too much, good hop mix, from floral to citrus.
Average body, maltu start aftertaste, bitter finish.
Floral, camomile, peach.
More than ok.

Bit of a strange one

Great clarity, decent head

Sweet caramel and molasses and dryish finish don't quite work, not their best effort, but still drinkable and worth a tick

Pours a deep reddish colour with a off white head. Aromas of nuts, syrup, wood & pine. Tastes of caramel, wood, nuts, pine & sweet malt. Aftertaste is of a crisp caramel woody bitterness.

330ml bottle from Aldi supermarket (£1.49):
A nice beer, coming through sweet & balanced with a nice hop presence & sweet malts working well together. Easy to drink with good taste but it's not the best I've tried from the brewery; still well worth picking up if your based in Scotland.
