This Lager/IPA hybrid is a revolution in refreshment and flavour. All the crisp clean notes of the finest lager but with the discrete bitter finish of a well-balanced IPA. It's not confused about what it wants' to be, it's just the best of both worlds.

Poured from a bottle, two-finger head and crystal clear golden colour, head does not dissipate. Moderate carbonation, bitter and hop-forward but crisp maltiness. A good IPL does the job it's supposed to. Slight astringency to the bitterness akin to a certain other Scottish brewery's output.

Light hop bite on a mild aroma of grapefruit rinse. Lagerlike clear gold with a thin head which persists. Drinkable and probably better colder than room temp I had this one in Scotland.

500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.1%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. As the beer is hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Amarillo, Styrian and Cascade, I expected the aroma to be something special, but it isn’t - just grassy notes on a background of malt sugar. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is clean, medium sweet and tolerably well hopped for a pale lager - yes, this is a lager, and not much of a "hybrid". At 33 IBU it is hardly an IPA by any stretch of the mind. Grassy finish. Drinkable, but won’t buy again.

Refreshing beer, taste is not too strong but it is quite flavourful. I would say it tastes like a Brewdog beer but it's more subdued making it much better. Overall it's not a bad beer.

Can. Clear straw with a frothy head which produces decent lacing.
Citrus aroma. Hints of honey and straw.
Taste as per smell with a mild astringent completion.
A light refreshing feel.
Between two stools.

Look - Light gold colour. Rich foam. Nice lacing.
Smell - Citrus, light hops. After while mostly hops and sweet malt.
Taste - Bitter, hops, some citrus undertones.
Feel - Light and refreshing. Medium bodied.
Overall - Good combo. Takes lightness and bitterness of good lager and mixes with lightness and fruitiness of IPA. Very nice beer.

Perfect Hybrid! The clear, clean and crisp texture of a lager with the nice bitter-sweetness of a good well balanced IPA. Has a nice and clear golden colour with medium carbonation and clean white head. Comes in a 500ml bottle roughly at £1.75 to £2.69 at most places leaving you utterly impressed. Nice citrusy smell with grassy notes.

Clean, crisp and pours well. Love the aroma and the fresh taste left on the tongue after the first mouthful. Bottle quantity is very good making it great value for money. All in all it is surprisingly good coming from an unassuming label. Couldn't wait to order the next one. Definitely recommended.

Golden blond, some thin floaties. Beautiful creamy white foam.
In the smell fresh hop and white flowers, grassy (melissa, lemon balm), a hint of citric. Fresh And light.
The taste starts malty, then a dry finish. Good hop, light citric.
The aftertaste again starts malty and finishes hoppy, with tea scent, delicate and pleasant.
