Dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Roasted coffee, dark fruit, prunes, raisins, soy sauce, chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel with a bitter-sweet aftertaste.

Brown, almoust black. Just a hint of a beige head.
Nose: chocolate, coffee, nuts, pumpernickel, licorice, syrup and leather.
Taste: Brown sugar, coffee, caramel malt, dark chocolate and raisin.
Medium body and little carbonation.
Well hidden alcohol but a little to "flat" - I would like it a bit thicker.

Bottle from Ronnie, thank you very much!
Pours a small, bubbly head, leaving a spider web lacing, with a slightly oily, almost complete black color.
Has fantastic aromas of fresh pressed coffee, toasted malts and a sweet milk chocolate note. While I can not detect any spices, the coffee is intense and interacts perfectly well with the chocolate, creating a rich nose.
The taste reflects the nose, with an unexpected low carbonation. Coffee hits the palate in an extremely smooth fashion, while providing a decent amount of bitterness to correlate with the scorched malts. Drinks very smooth, while some slightly hot, sweet spices become visible, as the beer warms up, sitting on top of the glazed malts. Finishes with bakers chocolate, molasses, earthy malts and a gentle coffee infusion, without becoming too bitter.

The colour is dark brown (90 EBC), the liquid is clear. The finger thick brown head is compact. It sinks very slowly leaving some lacing.
The smell is sweet and roasted with dark chocolate, crisp bread and pumpernickel. Lactose and toffee. Mild chemical bitter flavours.
The taste is bitter with some plain overly strong sweet flavours. Heavy roasted malty flavours and aggressive alcohol. Dark chocolate and some chocolate icing. Full body. The aftertaste got some chemical flavours, heavy sweetness and lots of roasted malts. The finish is short with strong sweet flavours, mainly lactose.
The carbonation is medium strong, the few mid-sized bubbles are short-lived. The liquid is smooth.
