The colour is jet black, the finger thick beige head sinks quickly down to a thin lid leaving no lacing.

The smell is a bit roasted with distinct notes of green apples and apple juice. Some toffee, too.

The taste is first intensively chemical sour with some charcoal. Then, sweet notes of ripe apples and sweet liquorice, malic acid and sour fruit candy. The long finish got notes of dried apple rings, harsh malic acid and a touch of chloride.

The carbonation is medium strong, the many small bubbles long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth yet a bit harsh.

An experimental beer, meant to taste like a Swedish sour apple-liquorice candy: First sour then fruity and sweet. An odd experience, and rather well crafted. Will I buy another bottle? Probably not...
