The beer is black oily, a small tan head, little lacing but good curtains.
The smell is dark dried fruits, cocoa beans, Madeira and a splash of coffee.
The taste has a sweet start, brown sugar, caramel, figs, dates and some licorice.
Low carbonation, very soft, oily and a rich and complex body.
Another extremely good RIS from a Swedish Craft Brewery.

Sample from bottle, Copenhagen Beer Festival. Black colour. Intense aroma, roasty, vanilla, chocolate, a hint of fusel, oak. The flavour has much the same elements, the hint of fusel detracts a point or two, and the sweetness is bordering on "too much". But by all means, this is a craft beer well worth sampling.

Got this from a dear friend of mine and I've saved it for a special day.
Well... This day is special! I've got an broken arm and I'm feeling lucky!
The beer pours dark black into the Orrefors glass. Almost no head and lacing.
Nose: Sweet caramel malt, vanilla, oak, brown sugar, coffee, dried fruit and molasses.
Taste: Vanilla, chocolate, dark syrup, bourbon, oak, prune, roasted malt, madeira wine and raisin.
Mouth: Full body. Light carbonation. Sweet and smooth. Oily texture.
This is like grown-up candy!

This bottle was sent to me by olradetbalder, Much appreciated for sending this as an extra in a trade. This beer poured out as a deep brownish black color with a subtle head on top. The smell of the beer is chocolaty with some roasted notes as well. The taste is very nice here, lots of nice dark sugary fruits along with the oak creeping in there as well. The feel is pretty good, medium to full bodied. Overall it was a very good beer in my opinion.

Shared bottle at SMÖF 2012.
Pours a impossibly dark hazy brown.
Has an elegant smell, sweets, chocolate, raisins, which it carries into the taste. The bitterness wont end. And I don't want it to, either. It's a rich dark chocolate bitterness, very complex and satisfying.
The liquid oily and rich, soft bubbles give it a luxurious feel.
Wow.

Pour is dark cola brown with some light tan head. Nose is light chocolate with lots of oak. Lightly roasted, hints of sweetness, a touch of peaty whiskey and some fusel alcohol. The taste is nice, more integrated with some sweet dark fruits up front, notes of oak underneath, rich milk chocolate and an assertive but pleasant roast in the finish lingering on. It has a full body, very soft on the palate, creamy and low carbonation. The finish is just a touch thin.

Thanks to SeaBass for the Awesome share!!!
A; Pours a nice rich deep dark brown hue. Nice light mocha head with okay retention and a few spots of lace.
S: Rich sweet aromas, lots of molasses and dark fruit. An underlying tone of roast and hints of chocolate.
T: Damn nothing like the aroma. Bold and roasty. Loads of espresso and bitter chocolate. Subtle oaky tones from the barrel. Awesome. Rich bold and great. One with the price of shipping.
M: Medium, rich, bold, smooth, great.
