I live in Plymouth, and have been here many times. Very good craft beer selection. Good food. Very big and open inside, with outdoor seating as well.

I live in the area and when I want to go out for a pint, I go here. The atmosphere is inviting with a fireplace and two separate restaurant areas on each side of the bar. There are British paintings along the wall as well as humorous sayings. There is also an outdoor patio that is packed in the summer.
The food tends to be British. Highlights include the pizza, veggie burgers, and flat iron steak on top of traditional British pasties.
The beer selection is exceptional with much to choose from: Old Speckled hen, Fuller's, Boddington's, Arrogant Bastard, and Mayflower are among the highlights, although they do bring in seasonals. They cover most all styles. Throughout the year they also have breweries come in to do sampling.
I go there frequently and the service is always exceptional. If there is a mistake, it is corrected quickly without argument. All the servers are very friendly.
I feel this is great value for a casual night out.

Nice location on the end of Route 3a in Plymouth, right before the bridge to the Cape.
Decorative in doors, English pub decor. Lots of wood moldings, etc. Prints of English historical adorn the walls, including Oliver Cromwell, and Winston Churchill. Also, quotes from famous English authors go around the dining areas.
Selection is very mainly British oriented for obvious reasons. Old Speckled hen, Fuller's Boddington's, John Courage, O'Hara's, etc etc.
Food is good, with several British dishes that are hard to come by in the area, like Bangers and Mash and Shepard's pie.
Service was mostly good, except for a few server mistakes that were corrected in due time.
Not too expensive, but not too cheap either. Pretty good for the area.

The best place I've ever been for British beers. There's an impressive selection in both bottles and on draught.
There's a large selection of Samuel Smith's, Fullers, and Young's.
The non-British beer selection is also good. They have Arrogant Bastard, Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA and a number of other decent beers on tap.
They also have a small, but quality selection of Belgian Ales.
I like how the restaurant looks, it was designed smartly.
The food was decent, and the service was very good. I needed a receipt, and the waitress who waited on me had already left, and she came back and found it for me.
The one problem is the price of some of the beers. Many of the beers cross into double digits. Even something like Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout -- one of my favorite beers -- shouldn't cost $8 for a bottle.
Other than that, I have a group of friends who can't wait to take a treck down to there to try.
