a clean golden pour with 2 fingers of white head and great lacing. here are lots of bready notes in the scent, banana, raisins, caramel. the flavor is an extremely sweet malty profile with some bready notes. sugary sweet almost like a syrup.
a full body beer with low carbonation, very syrup like. not what i was expecting at all from a lager. very very sweet sugary flavor makes it hard to drink.

Served in a pint glass.

Appearance: Clear gold, little bubbles on the body. This beer pours like most lagers except the head (white of course) doesn't get out of control maybe 1/4" if that.

Smell: Has a sour smell of yeast little light but still hoppy.

Taste: Heavy strong alcohol taste, almost like a rum feel to the beer. It is bitter but the alcohol offsets it that it makes it a notch sweet.

Mouth: very sticky, not quite the smoothest beer but after lingers with you.

Overall: There are two totally different versions of this beer, one labeled 4.7 with a silver label and the one I am reviewing that is 12% ABV and by the end of the bottle you on an empty stomach will feel the effects. Above average beer that does the job after a long day, Salud!

Bought a bottle at a local liquor store. Poured into a pint glass.

Appearance is dark amber, no appreciable head or lacing. Pretty average.

Smell is lacking in any yeastiness, hoppiness, the strongest notes being a fruity overtone and alcohol.

Taste -- blech. This reminds me of the cheap, high alcohol cans of beer I found in local corner markets in Paris. Kind of sweet, malty, and mainly just nasty.

Mouthfeel - thin, not much going on. To be honest, I can't bare to take a big enough swig to get a good sense.

This isn't the worst beer I've ever had, but it's certainly among the top ten worst.

I'm drain-pouring the rest.
