This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a golden bronzed color with a film of a little white foamy head that receded at a nice pace. Sliding lace. The aroma had some sweet corn, light biscuits, and grassy sweet hops. The flavor brought the prior mentioned aromas together sweetly and kicked the aftertaste with the grassy sweet hops which propelled the finish to be somewhat grassy sweet. The palate was light bodied with a good carbonation about it. ABV felt as projected by the brewer. Overall, I didnt mind this beer. Probably would be better with food, though.

maybe i liked this one a little better than the average, its a pretty good blonde all up, albeit a super basic beer. pale grains up front on the nose of this insanely clear and really bright blonde. head lasts awhile too. no hops at all, but it really doesnt need them, because the sweetness of the grain is all fermented out, and the beer is clean enough in its own right, no evident hops necessary. this is obviously a beer made for mass appeal, so joe sixpack can feel fancy when he supports the red white and blue (by the way, the caps on these are borderline offensive, even for a burgeoning patriot (well, not really, but you get it)). made cheap so anyone can grab one, no need to pour either, slam it from the bomber during parade season. dry dock is capable of so much more, and i think thats why the appeal just isnt there for me, but i understand what they are doing here, and give them credit for making a passable beer in that context. refreshing, nice pils front end, and a dry enough finish. good summer stuff, maybe a gateway to craft for the coors guy...
