On tap at Dry Dock. Pours a moderate amber. The nose has slight diacetyl. Flavor is fairly-heavy diacetyl, biscuit, and moderate bitterness. Not easy to get through.

A new brew from Dry Dock, and I'm assuming a bit limited. Called a copper ale, which may be seen as "light amber". Anywho, with Spalt hops I'm listing it as an Alt

Pours, well, copper. Clean and clear. Just barely off-white head, that leaves nice lacing rings.

Malty aroma. Brown bread, some nuttiness and light caramel. Some earthy spice here and there on the end.

The malt aroma is stronger than the malt taste, although the caramel comes through in a solid quaff. Nuts and some dark toast linger, but it's the hops that provide a bit of pondering. Spicy and a touch floral. Nice bitterness on the end to finish the sip with a zip.

This beer drinks very well. It was gone pretty quick.

cool beer, on tap at bicycle café, Denver. pours a nice looking clear light amber to copper color with a thick creamy tan head of more than a finger, and excellent lacing and retention. the nose is a little fruity, a little minerally, and definitely more malt than hop based, but in appreciable balance. the taste starts off like an esb, big English malt character and some caramel sweetness and body, while the finish is more like an American amber with some dried fruity esters and essences. some lingering sweetness but not off putting, and a touch of bitterness to counteract it. mouthfeel is wonderful, rich and creamy with soft carbonation and a mouth coating gentle relaxing vibe, makes it super easy drinking. overall another impressive beer from dry dock. a style I don't always enjoy, I really thought this was a great kickoff to my weekend on a Thursday afternoon at 3:15pm.
