I'm addicted to shopping at Whole Paycheck/Foods. Having this store attached only adds to the fun. Like the grocery store, the space is clean and well lit.

As others have said, this is a small store. However, the stock is almost all craft and the selection is quite good given the limited space. CO micros are front and center, but other US craft brewers are well represented. You won't find anything out of the ordinary here, but you won't be disappointed with the selection either. If you're in the mood for wine, they have a nice selection of that too.

The staff is small, but nice. Prices seem about right for the area.

This place has a fresh selection of beer. Most of it is colorado stuff. They have a lot of big named craft brewers from other states and a few imports. Good selection considering the small amount of space they have for beer.

They do have a few singles to pick from when people fuck up six packs, which was convenient.

The people there are very helfpul and they do have suggestions if you ask. There are also employee picks and descriptions of certain beers. Definetly check this place out if you come to denver.

This store is located in the Whole Foods store off of Hampden and I25.
The first thing you'll notice is that for such a small store, the selections are AMAZING. They carry almost nothing BUT craft beers. No cases of Bud Light, no gigantic displays, etc.
They have 6 cooler doors and you'll find brews from Stone, DFH, Samuel Smith, Paulaner, North Coast, Ommegang, and all of the Colorado brewers, too.
I've found that in the case of new release beers, this store tends to get them before even some of the much larger stores do.
Have a question? The staff I talked to not only knew their wines, but also the beers, too. They gave good advice and seemed to be beer fans themselves. I've been in 2-3 times and there was at least one staffmember who "knew" beer each time.
Other nice touchs were some exclusive items I haven't encountered anywhere else, and even an option to taste beers (Titan and Denver Pale Ale) for customers. As a result, it was nice to see those brands selling well, too.
It's not going to be a catch all superstore that carries EVERYTHING, but they had 95% of the beers I buy regularly. Prices were comparable with any other store in town, too.
I have to say I was shocked to encounter such a great beer store tucked into a Whole Foods. This has become a wonderful "default" store for me now!
