Poured into a half pint glass: color is hazy gold, huge dense frothy head - at least 1.5 inches thick, head lingers for minutes, lacing on the glass.

Smell is easy going structure of a hefe - wheat, biscuit, toast, then moderate yeast phenols and banana notes, with light teaberry or bubble gum.

Taste is similar with simple but well done hefeweizen flavors of wheat, biscuit, toast, yeast phenols with banana/bubble gum notes.

Mouthfeel is soft and then dry; softness from the wheat is pleasant and the drying form the fermentation does some clean up.

Overall this is a great looking and great tasting brew, a nice robust wheat character and just enough spice/phenol character.

Pours orange/yellow, very hazy with serious foam and lacing. Lots of good chunks floating around, very carbonated. Smells very light, banana, floral, yeast, citrus. The taste follows the nose, very light citrus, banana, yeast tones. This is a great summer beer, not too heavy but loaded with flavor. Light to mild medium beer, good any time of year.

The appearance was a cloudy/hazy golden orange body, two finger white foamy lumpy head that lasts for a good three minutes and then ends up leaving a spectacular clingy yet somewhat foamy lacing. The smell was a "banana"/estery aroma and cloves, light citrus. The taste was the previously mentioned flavors with a nice big wheat bite, all combined in the aftertaste, dry clove-like finish. On the palate, it sat about a light to medium, sessionable, carbonation is spot on for the style and for me, also becomes a bit creamy. Overall, pretty nice German Hefeweizen and always super nice to have this time of the year.

Look is light orange with big fluffy head. Aroma is dominated by clove, but taste is fruitier (bubble gum and banana). Starts strongly sweet and ends sweet as well but a little lighter. Very smooth almost creamy mouthfeel. A very drinkable and tasty beer.

Typical German beer to remove thirst. I left me indifferent. Not the kind of beer that makes me enjoy. Not a bad beer but simply for thirst.

Pours orange, cloudy, voluptuous tight head

Clove, banana, sweetness, light carbonic spritz and a small metallic note. Some floral qualities too

Flavour similar, more breadyness, lactic juicyness on the end, no bitterness perceptible.

Thin body for strength as you would expect with the high carbonation.

Pint sized bottle into PP glass (has curvy look like a weizen glass)
BB 11/2017
L- pours a clear (surprisingly?) burnt orange, with big fluffy white head, great retention, some lacing as the beer goes down
S- the nose is surprising, as the first whiff is toasted malt(which I like), followed by the expected subtle banana & cloves, with some floral notes as well
T- the taste follows the aroma, and is toasted caramel malt, followed by the subtle banana and cloves with a real nice floral & spicy finish
F- the mouthfeel is as expected for the style, smooth and creamy, with only a slight barley-like coarse-ness
Overall a great beer for a hot Summer day, with the uniqueness of a more malty Hefe

Super thick tan pillow of foam that eventually fades to thin ring. Some lacing. Color is very opaque orange with a hint of brown. Aroma of bananas, barley, bread, ripe lemon, ripe grapefruit, raspberry streusel. Palate is light and delicate with notes of bananas, fresh lemon, fresh bread, dates, floral booziness with a banana bread sweet finish. Pros very flavorful and delicious, very balanced- sweet, bitter, alcohol, sour; super complex, refreshing. Cons almost nothing, head fades completely, finish may be a little sweet, a lot of banana. 93/100.
