This was a little underwhelming in strength. But it was highly enjoyable and CRISP and DRINKABLE I would like to have one again. I prefer this taste and style over American beers with corn or rice additives. I gave the "Look" a lower score because I think the visible yeast content gives it a low rating. Although the the cloudiness was cool as a highly acceptable signature.
I couldn't see this pairing with chicken or fish necessarily, but do agree about it's pairing with Salad..I would like to have one with ranch and Walnuts right now.

A - Beautiful color; very nice head; good lacing; amber, golden, hazy. Minimal carbonation, though, making for a great mouthfeel, but one of the few limitations of this beer.

S - Wheat; sweet; barley malt; banana.

T - Banana, slight hint of spice.

M - Very smooth yet crisp; very nice mouthfeel; comforting and warm.

O - Great drinking experience. You really can't go wrong here. If you like hefeweizen, this is one of the gold standards. I poured it from a can that came out of my German Christmas advent calendar.

From the 330 ml. bottle stamped 04:17-L11765H. Sampled on October 24, 2017.

It pours an attractive looking amber-orange under a foamy white head that is soft and fades delicately.

The aroma is an array of Euro character including wheat, toasted barley malt, sweetness, butterscotch, and lemon grass.

Medium to full body. Smooth and easy to drink.

Mellow toasted malt flavor that balance out with a pleasant fruity zest and a mild to moderate bitterness. It is easy to drink a few of these.

It’s just a great representation of the style. Just easy to drink all year round.

Hefe-Weizen | Paulaner Brauerei GmbH & Co. KG Poured from the bottle into a taller, wider lipped pint glass, the head is three fingers thick, with solid lacing, and a hazed dark gold body.

Smells like mellow, yet full-bodied hefe elements. Nice!

I really dig on how all the usual tasting notes have such a clean finish with this particular brew.

Medium-light mouthfeel with fair carbonation.

Overall, I'll rate Hefe-Weizen | Paulaner Brauerei GmbH & Co. KG at a 4.25
