Served on tap in a traditional weizen glass. And thank God for that, because some itty-bitty pour isn't going to cut it for this one. Pour is a pink-tinted orange that practically glows golden, hazy, and topped with two fingers of tightly packed foam. Aroma is beautiful: banana and clove, citrus and sweet malt. The flavors explode on the tongue, with spice taking a backseat to the fruity banana /citrus /bubble gum flavors. Amazingly refreshing.

On a recent Royal Caribbean cruise this was honestly the only passable beer that they sold on the ship. Once I found that they had this, I ordered at least one every day. It's actually quite a good hefeweizen. It has a nice color, just enough head, and a nice carbonation that continues to bubble as you drink it, providing a very pleasing mouth feel when drinking it. Wheat beers aren't my #1 favorite, but they're in my top 5 and this is one I would consider keeping stocked in my refrigerator, especially since none of the local Texas breweries make a good hefeweizen.

Nice smell of clove and malt. The taste ha plenty of banana esters and a good wheat flavor. Lightish body and medium carb. Good hefeweizen in my opinion.

This beer pours a very hazy, vibrant golden orange with a spectacular, 2.5 finger, dense white head. Retention is excellent and there are sticky rings of lacing left all over the glass.

Smell is clove, bready malt, citrus and pepper.

Taste is the same, but more vibrant. It took me a few sips to get any malt character, but it adds a nice layer of complexity along with the citrus and spices. There is also a subtle banana flavor that was not present in the smell.

Feel is light, smooth and super crushable. A little undercarbonated in my opinion.

Overall a very good beer. I'm not extremely well versed in the hefeweizen style, but I am definitely a fan of this beer.

Pours a very hazy yellow with decent lacing. Has a sour beer smell with a slightly sour taste but still better than the hoppy IPA flavor. A little more carbonated than I prefer but no aftertaste.
