look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

Serving Type - Bottle

Appearance - Golden tan/yellow with a nice 1 inch foamy, white head. Good lacing.

Smell - Lemon and banana. Wheat, yeasty sugars, orange, spices. Floral, bubble gum.

Taste - Grainy, with big wheat presence. Lemon and orange with banana are main fruit flavors. Floral notes, yeasts, and added spices are also tasted. Clove, and a smoked flavor is picked up at the finish.

Mouthfeel - Banana, orange and lemon first coats the tongue. Palate gets a lot more wheat, spices and yeasts. Aftertaste is a little dry, yeasty and floral.

Overall - Not as sweet and refreshing as a lot other hefes' but still good. More wheat up front with some bold spices. Banana is more mellow, as with a lot of hefes are dominated by banana. A good beer I haven't had in ages. Worth a drink for a local beer.

a: Cloudy and murky but oddly pale; poured with a thick sticky head.

s: Spot on; lots of yeasty banana and bubblegum with clove spiciness.

t: Just the way I like 'em, big grainy banana with the clove present but in the backround.

m: Big and chewy

o: Really good hefe that hit the spot.
