12oz bottle into a pint glass. NO freshness dating.

clear very pale yellow body, enormous white fluffy head, thick generous lacing.

had to blow a hole in the head to get a nice hit of lager malts and yeast.

biting flavor, you can feel the hops, but the overall impression is pretty understated.

a little above thin on the mouth, slightly bitter on the finish.

overall, a decent enough beer. not a style im in love with, a but a nice enough quaff with tonight's curry.

Poured into a custom shaped glass: color is straw gold, head is bright white with fine bubbles presenting about 1/2 inch thick and lingering well with a top and deeper ring along the glass, some lacing on the glass.

Smell is bready, crackery, grassy hops thought subtle.

Taste is similar with bready, crackery flavor, some biscuit like taste, then some grassy hops and bitterness.

Mouthfeel is crisp, carbonated, a bit strong on the tongue.

Overall a very good pilsner, true to style with pleasant bready/biscuity qualities and moderate hoppiness.

DATE: September 4, 2016... OCCASION: Watching Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief with the family... GLASSWARE: Warsteiner pokal... a thick, crisp, pure white head tamps down and cakes to car wash soap suds... the body is beautiful clear, golden yellow with a steady stream of effervescence... a gentle, pliant aroma of Hallertau and soft cracker make for an alluring combination... a buttery, smooth, inviting body that has little effervescence or life... sippable, slammable, and 4.5% ABV, finished as fast as it began.... the taste profile is thin, with soft hops, flowery hints, refreshing though light... overall, not much to add other than this is a worthwhile sampler mate that fits well with all-day summer drinking... it definitely has its role...

Pours a light pale yellow color...
Smell is a grassy malt. Taste is mild and bitter but malty.
Not much hops. Dry and bitter.

Appearance: Pours a pale, clear gold color.

Overall: The aroma is a light refreshing hops. The taste is well balanced. It has a noticeable hop character, very nicely done, along with a leveling maltiness. Solid beer that is very crisp, clean, and refreshing.

Poured from a 12oz can into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light yellow color with a thin white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains lager yeast, caramelized malts and a touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out very bready with flavors of lager yeast and a hearty malt character. Then some malt sweetness comes in. The hops presence is mild and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, it’s a decent beer but there are others in the style that I would choose first.

Pours a light yellow hazy color with very little head. Little to no lacing but plenty of carbonation. Initial taste is light, crisp and pleasant. Definately a nice summer brew

Odorless. Weak mouthfeel. Bland taste which is lacking the crispness of a pils.
