Idk I like this one a lot in the sense I actually tasted the raspberries. There's a weird aftertaste on some sips but eh. This is better than a lot of other things in a crowded genre, at least adequate

12 oz bottle poured into a snifter and shared with my wife. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow. Smallish head that quickly fades. Aroma is bursting with ripe raspberries, almost like raspberry custard. The taste fails to live up to the aroma - it's almost like two entirely different beers. The flavor is mostly wheat with just a fraction of raspberries compared to the aroma, with a hint of tartness. Mouthfeel has moderate carbonation and is a little bit thin. Overall it's enjoyable but not something I'd pick up again.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. NO freshness dating.

medium golden yellow body, light carbonation, small white head dissipating to a ring and covering, still leaving some lacing.

expected aroma of raspberries.

a little lively on the tongue. slightly tart raspberry flavor.

mouth around medium, finish and a little sour and tart.

overall, taste is exactly as advertised, a raspberry ale. i can imagine this would be pretty good in the dog days or summer. the 3.9abv means you could pound these all day long. if you like raspberry that is.

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a dark orange close to reddish/brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Lacing, uh...it was slightly there - speckled but in a messy sort of way. The smell had some tart raspberry but then a sweet raspberry allowing a decent wheaty/graininess to come in. The taste was mainly just the tart raspberry and the sweet raspberry, slightly inviting. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me. There was a slight dry raspberry-esque sort of finish. Overall, decent raspberry ale I think I could do again.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy pale golden/straw/light pinkish color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of juicy/lightly tart raspberries, fruit seeds, peach, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of raspberries, pale malt, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart raspberries, fruit seeds, peach, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Slight herbal bitterness and fruit tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of raspberries, fruit seeds, peach, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of raspberries, pale malt, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/tartness balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitter/tartness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/grainy, and slightly acidic/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.9%. Overall this is a very nice fruit beer. All around nice robustness and balance of raspberries, pale malt, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the low ABV, and never watery feeling. A very enjoyable offering.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1 finger faint pink head that receded quickly to a splotchy cap; no lacing;

S: assertive raspberry; slightly artificial and sweet, but it's somewhat natural;

T: follows the nose, but not as assertive; no bitterness;

M: medium bodied; low to moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;

O: not bad for a fruit beer;

Raspberry Ale brewed by Thirsty Dog Brewing Company, with an ABV of 3.90% This brew pours out amber color with a small white head. The head to this brew goes away fast. The smell is rich with raspberry sweetness, grains and malts. There is a hit of hops at the end of this brew. The look a small are really inviting. I like raspberries so I like the smell. Now for the taste, it is rich but smooth with flavors. You first pick up on the raspberry sweetness, then you pick up on the grains and malts. The body of this brew is light, nothing heavy here. I really like this brew. There is nothing overpowering about Raspberry Ale , it has a decent balance to it. The mouth feel of raspberry Ale is Sweet , smooth , clean and refreshing. Overall I'm giving Raspberry Ale a 4.50 out of 5 . If you are a fan of raspberry looking this one up. I would buy this brew again. Thirsty Dog Brewing Company, did a nice job with this one.
Thank You
