Reviewed on 6/27/2010. On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear brown-orange with a white head. Aroma of bland sweet malt. Flavor again of bland sweet malt and a slight sour twanginess. Not a very good ESB - the malt dominated but was not particularly flavorful.

This is the epitome of an easy drinking session beer. It may have little flare but that i snot always needed. This beer was served on the hand pump at Livery the day after DLD, and as one of the last just before we left I found this a very easy note to leave on.

Appearance: Served a copper orange color with a sudsy white head.

Smell: A gentle pale malt and touch of fuggle hops is present but reserved.

Taste & Mouthfeel: The hand pump definitely give the beer a nice airy feel but I almost wonder if it affects the flavor. The flavor id light and scattered with a few pricks of fruity fuggles here an there.

Drinkability: This would be a beer to order while hanging out for the entire evening watching one of their live shows of comedy nights that The Livery regularly hosts.

Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!
