I wasn't that impressed the first time I visited but definitely had a better experience during subsequent visits. During my second set of visits they have an impressive beer list which included everything from a BB triple bock, sours, adjunct heavy stouts, as well as less "extreme/exciting" beers. Vibe is decent, lots of locals but bartenders were friendly and attentive. Food isn't the fanciest but tasty and reasonably priced. They also had plenty of bottles for sale to go and were willing to put anything they had on tap in a growler.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My wife and I stopped here for dinner and beers while on a mini-pub crawl on a Sunday afternoon. The place was not busy at all. This was our third visit here, but no review was done from the previous visits, both of which were over two years ago when the pub was located in the basement of this building. The main floor setting is much better for some pub vibe, and it also has more space (including a stage) and more natural light. The third floor is a mezzanine area that overlooks the main floor, and it provides some extra seating space. A patio is also available for those who want outdoor seating. There was a very good selection of recorded music playing, which is something that I've never commented about in any review.

We ordered a sampler flight of 6 beers of our choosing that I thought would give us a good representation of the entire beer menu. I was not disappointed at all in these beers. All of them were brewed to excess for their style, and we ended up giving them an overall score of a 4.0 rating (out of 5). We felt that the Polar Vortex Imperial Maibock was very notable, and the others were not far behind. If someone is not a beer lover, this pub also offers 4 wines too.

The food menu is mainly pizzas and deli sandwiches, but the pizza was better than I've had in any pub before. The combo of ingredients on the menu-listed pizzas (you can also build your own) was very original, and the one that we selected was the tops.

This was just a great place for for some beer and food, and we'll have to make it a point to come here more often.

This place is a hidden gem. Tried a few of their brews and all of them were great. The food is excellent as well. The food was decently priced, but some of the pours were a bit steep (upwards of $12 for a 10oz pour. The atmosphere is great. Would definitely recommend.
