look: 3.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

this looks and smells similar to the last japanese craft pilsener i tried, from nagoya. but the taste is way, way less bitter. barely bitter in comparison, but not bad

slightly hazy yellow, very brief head. smell is overwhelmingly toasty corn chips, doritos. there is an enticing floral hoppiness, this brew smells quite good.

i think this would be great with food. i don't have any right now and it makes me think this is not exactly a session beer, more a dinner beer. the taste is not bad, just a little lacking for me to enjoy it by itself. but maybe that is characteristic of the pils style? i don't know. pretty good, I'll take this over all the macros, except maybe yebisu.
