In KC's Northland, we need more decent beer shops.

This Hy Vee "Liquor" outlet, with a seperate entrance, is very nicely laid out and clean. Only cold beer is sold, macro or craft. No dust on the bottles.

They offer over 40' of decent beer in an open well cooler.
Includes; Several Rogue, ALL Local Blvd beers & Pony Express , ALL New Belgium, 6 Berghoff, 4 Goose Island, 3 Bells, 3 Flying dog and more.

Singles of Youngs, Sam Smith and Fullers plus numerous German and British brews are offered. Seven of those pricy mini kegs, mostly blah lagers but also a Kostriker Schwarzbier.

Belgians? Chimay & Duvel from the Moortgat Company as well as 3 Ommegang brews.

While this may not make you hit the brakes in Chicagoland or out East it qualifies as a very good stop here in Northeast Kansas City.

They do some tastings and promotion to keep it interesting.
