Pours very dark brown with a fading head.
Nose shows inviting roasted malt and sweet milk chocolate. Perhaps a hint of roasted coffee. Very moreish.
Coffee is more prominent as a flavour with some soft roasted malt behind. Maybe too much coffee considering how mild the base beer is.
Body feels a bit watery.

A new release from these guys and its brewed by the Vicbrew 2011 champion and it pours the darkest kola hue which lets no light in and leaves a creamy two finger head and clingy lacing aswell, the smell is straight out Mocha its dark chocolate and coffee with the slight touch of herbalness, the mouthfeel is just over medium bodied and quite lucious with tastes of Mocha straight away followed by some milky chocolate, creme caramel,a nice touch of herbal hops to keep the sweetness in check and the finish is just like a nice cappicino creamy and bitter, overall its tasty and love the use of the chocolate and coffee perfect happy medium a must try if you find no wonder he won cheers.

From Leura. No BB.

Pours almost black, with a whitish (rather than tan) head. Unusual. The head fades to film quickly. Moderate lace on swirl.

Aromas on the money. Heaps of milk chocolate up front and coffee among the roast malts. However, the aromas do not last... Go figure.

Taste is wonderfully rich and also quite light. Ie in porter not stout territory. Main element is roast and coffee on back palate.

Very very drinkable as lightly carbonated ( not watery) and medium almost light bodied.

A great beer on what is quite a warm evening. It really does what it says.... Chocolate and coffee in a porter. Nuff said.
