Stumbled across the website for this place when browsing BA, and I'm glad I did.

Nice website, pretty basic but it is the content that's important, and the content is really rather good. I was delighted to find 6 different vintages of J.W.Lees Harvest Ale, including 1999 (the first brew). They carry pretty much the whole BrewDog range, which is always a good sign in my opinion. However, it was their own Edwin Tucker (Teignworthy Brewery) beers that I was keen to get my hands on, especially the Empress Russian Porter, which is no longer brewed. Also, they have a notable range of foreign beers, especially from the States, which don't carry the hugely inflated import prices that you find with other shops.

Placed an online order with them, they phone the next day to confirm they had received this, which was a nice touch, and my beer arrived within two day, skillfully packaged with lots and lots of bubble wrap!

Doesn't carry as wide a range of beers as some other British shops but all the beers they do supply are diamonds, and you will struggle to get elsewhere. Also, their prices are overall good.

I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and their Edwin Tucker beers are truly superb.

Found this website after fellow BA'er cypressbob happened to mention it....

Excellent selection of British beers - mainly bitters, but quite a few others including porters (the Edwin Tucker Empress Russian Porter being the highlight here) and stouts... Also a nice selection of old ales including 4 vintages of JW Lees Harvest (99, 01, 02 and 04)...

Good selection of foreign beers as well including quite a few i haven't seen anywhere else - Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter and K-9 Cruiser Ale for example. I also ordered a 2005 Samichlaus, 2 Brooklyn Weisse, 1 SN Brown Ale, 1 SN Wheat, 1 Anchor Summer Ale and 1 Lion Stout....

Delivery was first class - order placed on Wednesday and the beer arrived safe and well (everything was very well packaged) the next Monday... Delivery to Northern Ireland is £14.60 for up to 24 bottles which is perhaps a little pricey...

Overall - highly recommended....

Found this online retailer and brewer through BA, fancy

A pretty solid range, all decent beers and very little crap.

The selection focuses mainly on English ales, but it has some interesting imports from the US (flying dog, brooklyn and sierra nevada)

I ordered some stuff recently, mainly strong beers for cellaring (porters, stouts and barleywines), one short which was a bit of a problem as I was dying to try their russian empress imperial stout.

One problem is that when ordering online you dont get a receipt, none sent to your email and when you get your order all you get is a receipt showing your total...

Anyways, not a bad retailer, some more offbeat brews available

UPDATE

The beer that was short was forwarded on via first class post which was fantastic, all round very good customer service

This bottled beer shop within the Tucker Maltings Buildings (near Newton Abbot Railway Station) has a vast range of bottled beers, including such rarities (in UK) as Thomas Hardy Ale and many others from UK Breweries, including Holdens and Bathams from the Wolverhampton area of West Midlands. They also have a smaller range of the more popular Belgium beers, and some from Russia and Lithuania, though not so many from Germany. The stock varies from time to time, so worth checking. They do have a mail order service, and a full list of beers in stock can be viewed via their web pages. The prices were a little higher than some places I have visited, but the selection makes a visit very worth while when in Devon or passing by. There are also guided tours of the Maltings in season, and the Teignworthy Brewery is also on site.
