Light gold color and crystal clear. Huge big-bubbled head that settles very, very quickly--almost like soda pop.

Raw, unmalted barley smell. Woody.

The flavor improves slightly with some creaminess and, oddly, a strong wheat taste. Thin body and highly carbonated. Very much in the thin European lager style.

Bottle poured into plastic cup at Epcot; golden color with modest head; malts to nose not much more detected. Malty (bread) taste in palate- some sweetness. Malts linger on palate in a light way. Not the best I've had and on a hot day this might be a throw down beer; I've had worse!

Had in Epcot. Pours clear, gold in color, with one inch head. Taste is wheat, grass, and adjunct. Light and sweet. Not the most complex beer, but tastes wonderful in the heat.

Great head level, about right.

Very malty aroma, with hidden fruit elements.

Taste: Much better than French beers! All of them...

Marguez sausages are also much better than French ones.

Great level of hops! Perfect, and tasted natural and organic.

As a cold beer, on a hot day, this is up there with the best...

Thank you to Morocco :) I shall buy much more...

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass in Morocco

L: Pours a light clear golden color. One finger of white head... no significant lacing.

S: Mild malts... bread. Minimal hops.

T/F: Fairly typical macro lager. Pale malts... mild sweetness up front. Faint hops but no single flavor really dominates or stands out. Carbonated with medium mouthfeel. Finish is crisp and clean.

O: It's the 'best' beer from Morocco... which is the very definition of 'damning with faint praise'. Still... it's the best beer in town (in a country where the religion unfortunately dictates that one not drink beer) so if you're in Morocco.... bottoms up! I've definitely had worse.

Bottled 2/23/15. Best by 2/23/16.

Pours a clear honey gold with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of grain, earth, grass, and slight fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with sweet grain, corn flake, and grass flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a below average beer that is fairly decent, but there is a pretty sweet corn flake flavor that dominates the taste.

Serving type: bottle.

Wow, 1st time I saw this beer in the states. I haven't had it since my trip to Morocco in 2004. Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is light, some malts, a bit of sweetness. Taste is somewhat unusual, metallic, some grains, a slightly medicinal aftertaste. Feels light in the mouth and overall is mediocre at best.

Nice appearance with good lacing. Good aroma of sweet malts with honey notes. Taste is light with notes of diacetyl lemon and honey. Very refreshing and good quality lager. Not terribly remarkable but appears to be made without adjuncts and has a crisp and decent lager flavour. Nice sweetness. Noy so much bitterness or lingering falvours. A decent offering and better than typical mass produced lagers. Great bottle with palm trees and 1940s movie style lettering!

My mark out of one hundred would be 73.

I have drank this beer in both the United States (multiple locations) and in Morocco in a variety locations. It seemed weird drinking it inside Morocco, since it is an Islamic nation, but the wiedness fades because Morocco is modern country and most people drink. It pours hazy golden, little carbonation, and a slim head. It has a hints of vegetables, wheat, hops, and sweetness that congregate in the malty taste. It has a light edge, little aftertaste, and finishes neutral.

You can get this beer in many locations in the United States (Illinois, Missouri, and Texas) and everywhere in Morocco.

Pale golden colored lager with a bit of haziness. A quarter inch thick head is on top. I see plenty of carbonation bubbles inside. Aroma is slightly metallic and not much else. Mouth is a bit salty and thin. Taste is faintly that of bittering hops, and pale malt with a quick and slightly metallic finish.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation along with some particulates near the bottom of the glass. It poured with a short white head that quickly dissipated, leaving only a patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light aromas of apples are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors and bits of sweetness. Hints of grainy malts are also noticeable.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: There's nothing really special about the smell or taste of this beer, but it is rather easy to drink.

A: Pours a clear medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation streaming from the bottom of the glass and some faint golden yellow highlights. The beer has a quarter finger tall fizzy white head that quickly reduces to a small patch of thick film surrounded by a thin film covering the remainder of the surface and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of grainy malts with lighter hints of rice adjuncts and some light floral/grassy hops.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of grainy malts with some light amounts of rice adjuncts and a moderate amount of light fruit (apple juice) sweetness. There is a hint of grassy and floral hops that impart a very light amount of bitterness which fades quickly.

M: On the lighter side of medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin/watery.

O: This beer is not anything special about this beer but it is not offensive or anything like that...it is just very average. Easy enough to drink with well hidden alcohol but a touch sweet for me.

Pours a muddy yellow with greenish highlights. Fizz fades into no head at all. Not great.

Aroma is a bit sour, with wet towels, metallic malt, and what seems like hop extract. Not offensive, but not tempting me to sip.

Taste is poor, with lots of metal, misplaced bitterness, and a muddy finish. Not looking forward to the rest of the glass.

Mouthfeel is fine, if heavyish. No finesse.

Overall, I would not recommend this beer; it is not well made, not enjoyable to drink, and, oddly enough, always more expensive than the far superior Flag beer found at those Moroccan establishments that serve booze.

Dull and flawed. Take a pass.

Pours a honey straw color with a wispy white head that settles into a light ring.

The aroma is grainy, light sulfur and a slight honey note. Very macro-esc

The taste is corny sweet with plenty of grain flavor. Big cracker dry flavor. Some grassy bitterness.

The feel is light and crisp with plenty of carbonation. Quite dry on the palate, astringent.

Macro all the way. Quite dry and lifeless.

A: Pours clear golden with very many small bubbles. The tan head is tall but rather uneven and airy. Decent lacings, though.

S: Adjunct malts, like freshly opened canned corn. Sweet. Bitter hops and bready malts.

T: Mint and vegetables (canned) but also a nice and balanced maltyness. Bitter hops and quite some grass and herbs.

M: Sweet kind of short aftertaste. Body is medium, but a bit almost oily. Carbonation rich and offensive.

O: This could probably work in Morocco after a warm day in Marrakech, but in here in Sweden - not so interesting...

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a half finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet biscuit and bready malt with grassy hops and a slightly stale vegetable component. Flavor is sweet, mild biscuit and a hint of toasted malt, finishing with faint malt and slight hops. There is no evidence of the odd stale part of the the aroma. Medium, surprisingly slightly creamy body. A pleasant slightly sweet malty lager and with more character than most macros and Euro pales. I wouldn't hesitate getting another bottle of this in Morocco or a restaurant.

Can served into a generic goblet in Ibiza, Spain, in April 2011. Reviewed from notes.

A: Pours a three finger head of fair thickness and retention. Colour is a clear copper.

Sm: Fresh barley aroma. Light in strength. Clean and simple. Not a lot going on here.

T: A bit of cream comes through with a crap malt finish and a boring barley body. Poorly built all around, but the cream is nice I guess. Balanced garbage. How hard is it to balance so little, though?

Mf: Light and smooth. Undercarbonated but I wouldn't call it flat.

Dr: Not worth a try, but fairly priced. There are worse beers on Ibiza.

From 05/11/12. Had this at some French restaurant in NYC on the Upper East Side on First Ave., I think around E 65th St. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.

a - Pours a clear bright golden color with one to two inches of white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of grains, bready malts, biscuit malts, wheat, some earthy notes. Not bad at all, but pretty average.

t - Tastes of bready malts, grains, floral notes, light sweet malts, biscuit, and wheat. Better then the nose, some nice hops and sweetness.

m - Light body and low to moderate carbonation. A little think but easy to drink.

o - Overall not that bad of a beer; I think I liked it a little bit better then most. Certainly not the most flavorful beer, but easy to drink and not bad or offensive at all. Overall an average beer probably not worth checking out, but I've had much worse.

A-pale gold with white head that disappears

S-honey and grains. medium strength

T-comes in with herbal grains and some honey then a bitterness with a bare adjunct after-taste with some peppercorn. not bad actually. much crisper and more full than any BMC beer.

M-medium creamy carbonation with a creamy finish

O-quite enjoyable! wasn't expecting to enjoy this but its refreshing and slightly complex. i could drink this a lot when i just want something easy going

Light yellow to straw colour & forms a white, bubbly head that is about a fingers width tall but disappears almost instantly.

Sweet aroma to it on the whole. There is a light corn aroma that is matched in equal strength by a sweet syrupy one & a little bit of vegetable.

A little grain followed by slightly more of a sweet syrupy taste matching that from the nose. These flavours are almost drowned out by corn & vegetable adjuncts that come next.

Smooth on the palate but slightly too thin in body, this beer is at least a little refreshing but the aftertaste is dry.

Yet another mass produced, low quality pale lager. Not a beer I'll be trying again. Slightly better than Flag Spéciale but not by much.

T: Hops, Spice, Pine, wheat, and barley. Well Balanced.

M: Medium body for its style. Good mouth coating and carbonation along with a wet finish.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

A - Pours a straw yellow with bubbly white head that fades rather quckily with no lacing.

S - Pretty straightforward smell of grain and not much malt or hops to speak of. Simple and not very interesting.

T - Starts with a grain lager but finishes with what feels like expired barley and hops that leaves a slightly acidic aftertaste that is not enjoyable. Backend on this is pretty terrible.

M - Light bodied, and plenty of carbonation. Aftertaste leaves an unpleasant mouthfeel.

O - In one word, no. Not an enjoyable beer, and would not want again.
