The craft beer selection at Peoples Liquor Warehouse has grown each time I visit the store. They have recently moved their craft beer aisle to the front of the store and doubled its size. While they dedicate much of their cooler space to better known breweries the selection that is offered in the craft and "mix-a-six" aisles can't be beat, and the cold "mix-a-six" cooler rocks! I have found everything from Clipper City Loose Cannon to St. Somewhere Lectin Divina there! The employees are always helpful and most know what they are talking about, and when they don't they at least find someone that does. I've found something new each time I've been and would recommend a visit to anyone.

This used to be my local store of choice to get my craft beers; they have a decent selection. But I had an issue with a couple of beers that were still on their shelf, but were past their prime. I approached the manager, pointed it out to her, and she basically blew me off. Bottom line, they don't care about the quality of what they stock. If you're in Warwick, head over to I.M. Gan. Good selection, and they pay attention to their customers. Screw this place.

The Peoples Liquor Warehouse has always had a decent beer selection. However, over the past two years it has become increasingly better by the month. They have an excellent selection of craft brews from across the region and an equally impressive selection of european imports. They recently dedicated an additional cooler in the front to store some of their higher end belgians and craft brews which I appreciate. The staff is always willing to help, even though there are only a couple that truly know what they are talking about. It is always exceptionally clean and pleasant when going into the peoples liquor warehouse and i would recommend it to anyone.

This is a very spacious store, to the degree that I thought the floor space wasn’t used very wisely. There’s a lot of cooler space, and what little of it is devoted to the craft brews, is occupied mostly by the more common craft brews of the area like Newport Storm, Sam Adams & Harpoon, but not much else. The craft aisle had very little in imports (Chimay & some Lambics pretty much) and not very much for domestics. However, there were a couple of surprises like Robert The Bruce from Three Floyds, Sam Adams Imperial Harvest 2005, Newport Storm ’05 & Newport Storm Chloe, which I know may not be the most highly rated brews from each of those companies, but they’re pretty rare in the area.

I was offered help once the staff-person realized I wasn’t just walking in to grab a case of macro and get out. He was courteous, but you could tell the guy had a lot to do, so I didn’t hold him up for too long.

The prices were reasonable but slightly on the high side for the most part. A noticed only a couple of exceptions that were under-priced, but even some of the macros were a bit high.
