Thanks for sharing this, Kasim. Bottle 11 of 19. A ticker's delight, rare and -bal aged.

The beer pours a crimson-tinted dark brown, nearly opaque. It has a few bubbles, but it's largely still in the glass. It has a surprisingly mellow aroma; chocolate and molasses are prominent, along with vinous and oaky notes. The high alcohol content is evident but not harsh or stinging. On the palate it's much more fruity and vinous, almost reminiscent of port wine. Blackberry and red grape notes meld nicely with the roastiness and molasses-like character of the base beer. The mouthfeel is still but viscous, with a dry, tannic and vinous finish. This was an interesting and successful experiment - nice job, Kasim.
