Arrived here 20 minutes before it opened and we were still about 30th in line. Luckily they let us before open and we grabbed a spot at the bar. Inside is typical bar decor, a small seating section and kitchen, but a nice long bar with plenty of seating. Heavy metal blares in the background and they are not about to turn on the tv, not even for the Bears playoff game vs. Seattle. I like the look and feel. All the servers and bartenders seem to fit with this place. Clientele also fits, definitely a local hipster crowd. The beer selection is decent, not overly exciting. They had about 8 taps, then probably 30 bottles. On draft they did have Gumballhead and Alpha King, but the rest of the stuff was mid tier easy to find craft (DFH, Lagunitas, etc). The main attraction of this place is its food. About 15 sandwich topping combinations that you can have with a burger, chicken breast or chicken tenders. The combo's are awesome, unique, mouth watering, and it reminds me of Jerry's Sandwiches, but for burgers. The tenders are only so-so, so get a burger or chicken breast. Waffle fries are awesome.
If I loved burgers and heavy metal this would probably be my favorite place to eat in the whole world. Beer is more of an afterthought here, while certainly a good selection for a restaurant, not a place I would come to just get a drink. Come here early and get a great meal, I will certainly be coming back.

The original Kuma's. I have been here once. We got there right when they opened and we were seated right away. When we left there was a line out the door. Great burgers and fresh cut fries. My buddy liked his mac and cheese as well. The selection of craft beer is very good with fifteen taps and around sixty bottles/cans. Heavy metal music and videos played at reasonable a volume. Recommended.

As a dyed-in-the-wool metalhead, this is pretty much the ultimate beer-and-burger joint.

Stopped here after a Beer Temple trip. Burgers are enormous and they have some cool appetizers. Beer on top is solid, and some good bottles. Not a ton of options, but what they have is good.

Kuma's Corner's burgers are as good as it gets. The service is always great, even when the line is out the door. Beer selection always small yet well thought out. Usually a Three Floyds selection available. Stellar, always bring out of town guests here!

This place is IT. This is a beer drinker's heaven. Walking in is like being teleported to a medieval, heavy metal, evil castle. Weaponry lines the walls, there's skulls, guitars and always really awesome hard rock to death metal music playing. The beer selection here is ridiculously awesome as are the insanely creative, metal band named burgers they offer. The staff is very friendly and is quick to get you seated (there's usually a bit of a long wait, naturally). If you are unsure of what a beer is, or just want to know what's on their rotating handles, just ask, they're more than happy to tell or check it for you. My first experience here was stellar, awesome heavy metal music, a gourmet burger and mac 'n' cheese and a glass of Three Floyd's Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker imperial IPA from the tap. If you're in Chicago, you HAVE to visit Kuma's Corner!!!!!
