Great selection - more than the recently improved Laconia store. Beer Cave (walk-in cooler) is really nice. Service staff are sometimes friendly, pack a good haul into boxes without being asked. It is a busy convenience store, so no roaming attendants to chat with about the selection.

EDIT 2022: Selection much improved, unfortunate change of ownership missing the knowledgeable friendly folks that I'd come to know.

Case N' Keg is a must visit when you are in the Meredith area. They have an amazing selection of all the kinds of beers you could want and a great selection of local NH brews. The costumer service is great and they are willing to do special orders on request. The beer cooler here is quite amazing probably the largest set up I have seen and extremely cold. It is a nice tidy clean store with a comfortable feel. You have to swing in if you are driving threw and pick up a new beer you haven't tried before, they have plenty to choose from.

A must go to in New Hampshire. If there is a beer that is available in New Hampshire rest assured you will find it there. Also the go to spot for getting kegs on the lake. The thing that keeps me always coming back is because the store has the biggest beer cave I have even seen with all domestic and craft beer stored cold. Beer tasting almost every Friday show casing famous and local craft beers has become a staple in starting my weekend.

Very nice selection. The staff is always nice, not necessarily beer enthusiasts out of all of them, the owner is excellent. Good prices.

They have a beautiful new walk in cooler along with beer tastings regularly and there staff is fairly knowledgeable.

 

 

 

This place has a pretty large inventory and carries your standard NH options. Everything is clean, neat, and organized. Lots of 12 packs and cases, has a lot of fridge space for IPAs. Not sure about singles or breaking up packs. Freshness can be an issue here, I've seen plenty of outdated IPAs in my brief visits. Service is pretty good, they are fairly informative, are willing to special order things, etc. Pricing is some of the lowest I've seen in the state.

If you are in the Laconia/Meredith region, definitely give this place a stop. Just make sure to check the freshness dates on everything. You might just run into a good vintage strong Ale (They had an '09 Ommegang Ale last time I went).

Quality: The bottles that I have purchased here seem to have been cellared well.

Service: Friendly service! They have been known to take requests...

Selection: Pretty good for a smaller venue! I'm impressed with the level of variety they are able to maintain given the size constraints of the store. There are abundant New England craft brews, but there are also a good handful of left-coast crafts, and a fair number of imports.

V: As always, you tend to get what you pay for. Their rates are fair, and their selection is very good for this area.

Not bad for new Hampshire lakes area. They go out of their way to get some decent east coast brews. Selection included Unibroque, Pennichunk, Harpoon, Magic Hat, Smuttnose, Ipswitch, etc. Decent amount of beer and wine refrigerated, with a fair amount of common cases and bombers on shelves. They also sell snacks and typical convince store type goods.

Service was uneducted on beers, and generally just a cashier when I was there late on a friday night. As far as Meridith goes, you won't find better.

For NH, and especially in the Lakes Region, one of the better selections you will find. NH is great for getting cheap 30 racks of Macros, but not for finding all the best Micros. They had an ok selection -- Stone, Flying Dog, etc. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but like I said, for the region, you can't go wrong. The prices weren't the best I've seen, but were not unreasonable. Overall, I would go back when I am back in the area, most likely next summer again. Easy to find as well -- on the major drag in Meredith going into Center Harbor.

A smallish store that is my regular stop for beers on my way home from work.

Good offerings from Ommegang (Hennepin, Rare Vos Ommegang), Unibroue (La fin du Monde, Maudite, Trois Pistoles, Terrible, 2005 Edition, Emphemere, Don de Dieu), Dogfish head (90 Minute IPA, Raison d'etre, Shelter Pale, etc.), Duvel (first decent Belgian available in NH for a long time!), Rogue (Festive, Dead Guy, Chocolate Stout), Smuttynose (Finest Kind, Porter, Old Brown Dog, etc.) Magic Hat, Harpoon, Shipyard, Morreti (La Rossa), Woodstock Brewery, Sam Adams (Imperial Pilsner for $5.50 a bottle, Black lager, Boston Ale, Double Bock, etc.), Old Speckled Hen, Sierra Nevada (Pale Ale, Stout, Porter, Celebration) Anchor (Steam and Liberty Ale), Xingu, Negra Modelo, Spaten (Octoberfest and Optimator, Franziskaner Hefe Weisse) Sam Smith (Oatmeal Stout, Pale Ale and Taddy Porter) and many other micros. Occasionally they will have a limited amount of Sierra Nevada Big Foot or Anchor Old Foghorn when they are in season.

Approximately 170 different beers which is about all you can get in beer starved N.H. All beers except for a few gift packs and assorted beers are in coolers and seem to be rotated in a consistent manner.

The staff is helpful when asked, although not overly knowledgeable about beer style and the product the carry. They will order anything you request, but be forwarned; there's not a great deal available in the state.

Overall a solid stop when in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire but not worth a journey otherwise.
