This beer pours a very cloudy yellow with a small head that hangs around a while and leaves some lacing. The aroma is wheaty, but also has a bit of citrus sourness. The flavor is very nice. Creamy with bananas and clove and that wheat character. Body is just right and the drinkability is good. Not the best hefe I've had, but still a darn good one.

This one was really a pleasant delight. Pours a gorgeous semi-opaque yellow with big white cap. All the expected banana bready aromas and flavors come through and the flavor is really well-balanced. The only weakness with this one for me is the mouthfeel a bit watery, and generally thin.

A: Pours a little clearer than expected. With just a touch of haze, a golden/yellow color. An ever lasting airy white head forms. As that slowly recedes, light lace is left behind.
S: Banana esters, and a doughy/yeast aroma. Clove and spice. Simple, but spot on and enjoyable for the style.
T: Oh, big banana esters up front, even some pear skins. Doughy banana bread, with spicy clove. A touch of some grains, a touch honey like sweetness. All around really enjoyable.
M/O: A light to medium body. Moderate carbonation, leads to this being ultra smooth. Very much moreish, and something I can down in big gulps.

Pretty much a spot on example of a Hefeweizen. I will be looking to get more of this soon. Well done, and very much recommended from me.

Poured from a can into a Hefeweizen glass.

Look (4.25) - Hazy honey-yellow with some small bubbles. It poured with a beautiful 1-inch head that dissipated to a filmy ring over a few minutes. Some slight lacing.

Smell (3.5) - Sourdough breadiness up front with a hint of honey. Not overly strong.

Taste (4.5) - Honey sweetness up front. Orange and cloves in the middle. Finishes buttery and fruity with notes of lemon and hops. A very slight bitterness in the aftertaste. The sweetness and buttery lemon notes came forward as it warmed.

Feel (4) - Some very light tingly bubbles on the tongue, velvety smooth.

Overall (4.5) - Really a tasty beer! Drinkable and just complex enough to be interesting.

16.9oz can into a tall Weiss glass.
L: Pours yeasty light gold w a 1+" pure white puffy & creamy head that has excellent retention, well carbonated w many steady bubbles, scattered thick broken lacing.
S: Banana bread, a hint of yeast, light clove, sweet, lightly floral.
T: Banana bread, clove, yeast, light fruit, pear, cereal grains, background apple skin, gently sweet.
F: Lightly crisp, clean, light bodied w a fast, soft lightly drying finish.
O: A top notch EZ drinking simple and great tasting beer. A real refresher. Try it with a lemon slice. Its lightly drying finish allows for frequent drinks. Hits all the right buttons and is excellent in its style.
