"This black rye IPA has a robust complexity hopped w/citra, columbus & centennial for aroma/bitterness"

Growler filled at the brewery this afternoon.

A- Near black, lite mocha head, leaves nice looking, fine and high sheeting.

S- Dark grains, resiny hops and a hint of rye on the nose

t- Roasty dark malt notes, plenty of hops, with a citric bite and on the palate a more noticeable rye presence.

m- medium bodied and carbonation on point.

o- Densely flavorful and better then average complexity. Well crafted and well worth a try.

More quality new beer from the Captain, The pilot batch offerings continue to impress and please the taste buds
