Served on tap at the Captain Lawrence Brewing Company in Elmsford, NY.
A: Pours a cloudy golden color with a solid white head with solid retention and lacing.
S: Aromas of orange, incompletely ripe nectarine, herbs, and toast.
T: Sweet. Flavors of grapefruit, mango, cracker, resin, herbs, and pine. Moderate bitterness with a resiny finish.
M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: A delicious NEIPA on a par with any I have tried. Fruits present, but herbal with Goldilocks bitterness. Really a treat.

16 oz can. Pours murky dark gold with a medium frothy white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is very sweet perfumey toffee malt with some fruit.

The flavor is sweet bready malts with big floral green resiny hops and some fruit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Overall, not my favorite NE IPA. Didn't care as much for the floral green hops and malt.

Tall can from the brewery, canned 8-1-18

Pour nicely hazed, lasting off white cap, leaves some frothy lace on the glass.

Ripe pineapple and soft lime infused hops on the nose.

Over the top bursting with tropical fruit notes, ripe pineapple abounding. Ripe fruits. earthy, densely flavorful and fully worth seeking out....The Powder Dream series continues to produce more and more tasty NEIPA....go get some

Pours a hazed & effervescent gold with a pinky of cream colored head. Pretty nice head retention & lacing

S: Tropical & citrussy, tangerine mostly, once warm, some mango

T: Sweet orange, a little pineapple , mango & plenty of dryness up front. Orange sweetness & a powdery dryness dominates as this warms, some breadyness & grapefruit with a smidge of mango backfills the edges. Tangerine, dryness, a little pineapple & lime in the finish

MF: Medium body, subtle carbonation, nice balance

Great drinkability, ABV well masked, super solid IPA

This is my second beer from the series and I can tell you that I love these beers. This beer has soft tropical and stone fruit, followed by a dry grass note and a bitter lemon rind. There is a prominent malt profile on the nose, that’s subtle on the palate. This one is more bitter than the Citra, Centennial and Bravo, which I thought was a sweeter beer. This is a great IPA. This brings together the best of both a classic West Coast IPA and a new world IPA.

8/1/18 canning, dry hopped with Citra lupulin powder and Vic Secret hops... Murky medium gold in color, hazed to opacity under a finger or two of white foam... Moderately bitter, moderately sweet, plushly carbonated, with fruit suggestions of mellow, smooth orange with faintly herbal undertones and a whiff of pine... Super smooth and soft; really enjoy that the orange is muddled and vaguely herbal as opposed to being too tangy and juicy... Another nice entry in their Powder Dreams series...
