This pours slightly hazy rich amber, with a fluffy head that does not stick around very long - a small foamy ring and slight foam film remains. The ring laces a bit but goes away and does not regenerate, so the foam is completely gone from the top by the end of the glass.

I can't quite describe the smell. Floral and hoppy, somewhat ascedic. Though I cannot place what is going on here, it actually does smell fairly good.

taste is really good, slightly sweet, a mild hint of pine hops, some dryness in some other kind of hops, notes of banana and mild spices. It balances well, with a hint of alcohol overtone, maybe slightly burbon like.

It has a creamy mouthfeel that goes dry in the back of the throat and turns oily as it dissappears.

It leaves a very slight bitter aftertaste. Very slight.

To me, this is a strange swing for an IPA. Not sure what I would classify it as, though. If you sort of like IPAs, but are looking for something with a little less bite than usual, search high and low for this and give it a try! If you are a staunch IPA lover, give this a try anyway - it will be an interesting sample. Overall, I do recommend trying this if you can find it.

From a can with a new minimalist design. Clear orange color with an inch of fluffy beige head. Not much of a smell. Medium body. Nice balance of caramel malt and piney hop flavors. Classic IPA, I've had many with this flavor combination but not so much recently.

A - pale yellow with good clarity. Pillow of bone white head with nice cling after each sip

S -lemon grass, biscuits, muted hops.

T - clean and crisp feel caramel malts met with a hop back bone and smooth finish.

Solid brew that drinks more like a classic APA as it doesn’t have much hop presence throughout

Enjoyed while on vacation in Estes Park

12oz can
date stamped 03/08/21
I had this once, probably 12 years ago. It’s back in my area after a long hiatus, so it’s definitely due for a proper review
L: hazy orange body, persistent ivory head
S: pine resin, orange & grapefruit zest, bready caramel malt
T: old school IPA flavors that I love: pithy grapefruit & orange zest, bread crust, caramel malt, pineapple
F: medium body, ample carbonation, assertive bitterness
O: better than I remember it being…but it’s been a long time!

Poured from a can. Orangish in color, clear with a white head and lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, earthy hops and caramel. Taste follows the smell, flavors all come together pretty well. Good.

Slightly hazy orange with thin white head. Nose is muted with hints of candied orange. Taste is similar with candied orange up front with some grapefruit pith, very thin malt and ends with cirtus zest bitterness. Body is light to medium with medium carbonation. Nothing special IMO, not bad but easily forgettable.

I honestly thought this tasted pretty good, not mind blowing or the best but decently flavorful, I've only had this company's stuff since the rebrand but this is pretty good

Aroma is mostly piney hops, citrus. Clear medium gold brew with small sticky head. Taste is citrusy hops with a nice mal backbone. Finish is a nice lasting bitterness. Well balanced IPA.

Bright white head; nice lacing.

Grapefruit nose; very bitter.

Medium thin mouthfeel.

Soapy grapefruit flavor; drinkable but frankly not very good.

12oz can poured into 10oz goblet. Poured a lightly hazy medium gold color with 1/2 inch of white head that had OK retention and lacing.

The aroma was sticky-sweet at first, with some light grains and soft floral and citrus hops in the background.

Same on the tongue, but the standard house funk rears its head.

The body was medium, smooth, and had a semi-sweet finish.

Drinkability was a bit difficult because of that funky aspect. This beer reminded me way too much of Sweaty Betty, a beer I despise. Overall, cannot recommend.
