Poured from the 12 oz can. Clear amber brew with plenty of white foam in the Orval chalice. Very light body, moderately sudsy in the mouth. Then there is that faintly metallic, sourish hint common to some low-malt beers. There is slight sweet note but I don't taste anything like rye. It's quite drinkable and innocuous, but not an improvement over a light lager.

I bought this at a Colorado grocery store, and there was no ABV marked on the label. So I assumed it was 4.0% ("3.2"). I drank four cans before I looked it up. Maybe the food stores are phasing in stronger stuff, but it still tastes like a supermarket beer.

L- Pours a decent amber colored beer with a nice lacy head. Pretty run of the mill look through and through. Nothing outstanding.
S- Smells slightly malty-sweet with a decent beady rye aroma. MAYBE some hoppy pine follows. Not much else follows.
T- Taste follows the nose. Not much else. A little sweet and a slight bitter hop. Nothing bad of course, just nothing special in any way. It's refreshing at least.
F- Decent crisp mouthfeel. The body follows the flavor well.
O- There's nothing offensively wrong with this beer at all. Its honestly refreshing. Other than that there really isn't anything special with this beer at all. I can barely even taste the rye.

12 oz can into rocks glass. Beer pours a medium to dark straw color with a decent head that dissipates quickly. Paisley aroma reminiscent of adjunct lagers with a hint of nutty richness. No hop on te nose. On the palate, beer is nutty with a flat sweetness, almost no bitterness, and a quick finish. Overall decent but underwhelming.
