Pours a slightly hazy deep-amber color with a fairly large creamy off-white head. As it recedes it leaves some very nice streaks of lacing on the glass.
Aromas begin with piney and citrusy hops. Then I get some more depth of grapefruit, tangerine and pineapple hops. As it warms you can notice the underlying sweet, bready and slightly caramelish maltiness.
The tastes follow the aroma but with a wider maltiness. Pale malt sweetness, caramel and toasty bready malt flavors as well. The hops remain the same, piney and citrusy, with much less tropical fruits than were in the aroma. Slight alcohol kick as it warms.
The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Finish is slightly sugary, with an emergin ABV alcohol bite.
Overall, this is a very well-rounded and balanced DIPA, but the higher than normal ABV for the style makes the finish a bit too biting. This would be better served in a 12 oz bottle, maybe in a 4 pack so you could have one a night as opposed to being "forced" to consume a whole 22 oz. in one sitting.

22 oz. Bomber
Pours a pretty nice golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice one-finger off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, kinda malty, with some citrus/pines. The taste is hoppy, malty, citrusy, with some pine notes. Full Body, ABV hidden pretty well, nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a nice little brew.

Boulder Beer - Mojo Risin' Double IPA. 10% ABV. 3oz sample pour in mini mug.
Look: Clear, vibrant golden bodied.
Smell: Floral hops, slight bitterness, light tropical fruits, some maltiness.
Feel: Mild carbonation, light bodied.
Taste: Slightly bitter from hops, light tropical, citrus, and malts.
Overall: Had at the Firkin Fest 2016 in Ashland, KY. Another beer and brewery I have not heard of, so I gave it a shot. Seems like a good example of a Double IPA, mild bitterness, along with fruit, earth, and malts. Nothing overly special, but not to be overlooked either.
