Slightly hazy, light gold glow. Very thin ephemeral head. Really potent citrus and tropical notes on the nose, giving an impression of sweet juiciness. Peach mixed with grapefruit. The taste follows the smell with balanced warmth and roundness under the bitter tang or tropical flavours. Thornbridge make some seriously good ales. For me, a pleasingly limited level of carbonation, allowing the flavours to sing through. Delicious.

From elcervecero. At dinner, after futsal match. With tuna with biscotte. Lemony, herbal and refreshing, with some reminiscences to a belgian strong pale ale. Bbf nov 2017

Bottle. Straw colour. Looks flat apart from a few gently rising bubbles.
Light citrus aroma. Fresh grass and silage.
The taste reflects the aroma. Light tea like astringency to end with.
Smooth. Medium body.
Very drinkable despite the ABV.

Not your typical double ipa, "a little smoother, little sweeter on the taste.

This is a great brew. On tap at les Berthoms, Grenoble, France. It shows a golden colour with a nice thick head. The smell is spicy, fruity and malty. The taste follows with a good malt backbone alongside tropical fruits, pepper. It's crisp and not has a low sweetness. I wouldn't say it's an american dipa but it's a good mix between an english and an american ipa

Pours a pale yellow with good foam stability. Nice lacing left on glass as foam subsides. Very good West Coast style IPA, but seems a bit unbalanced, with very strong citrus hop flavour overpowering the malt. Very good bittering and aroma, with strong citrus aroma. Very good beer, but would have liked the malt to come through a bit more. Mouthfeel was very good, and the beer had a good long finish.

Gold color, almost clear. White head, unfortunately completely impermanent, leaves a mark on the glass.
Aroma: the wealth of fruit, citrus, tropics, floral notes.
Taste: Citrus fruits clear advantage, again flowers.
Gentian intense, slightly resinous, saturation average.

Pours a clear, very pale yellow. Smells mostly of earthy hops and sweet malts, with a hint of honey. Initially tastes sweet, but goes bitter and hoppy. Very light body, crisp and refreshing.
