Good lord it looks like the quintessential pale ale with a resilient two finger head and deep rich golden honey colour. Smell is also a punchy aroma of hops and sunflowers. Taste is a lot less aggressive and is basically a very nice fizzy drinkabke pale ale

March 2004: (500 ml bottle). Deep golden colour, good head. Nice hoppy and elderflower aroma. Elderflower is probably what I get in the flavour too, but I've never eaten elderflowers, so I can't really tell. There's some caramel and a reasonably decent hoppiness, but it's a bit too sweet IMO. A bit alcoholic too, despite only 5% ABV.

L: Clear golden colour, small amounts of head and lacing
S: Elderflower, wafer, Turkish delight, some skunkiness
T: Hints of elderflower, caramel, biscuit
F: A bit too much initial carbonation, quite light bodied
O: 3.75

500ml bottle bought from Waitrose London. Lable states it is 4.5% [not the 5% in the beer summary shown here]. Also, for what it's worth, the lable is illustrated with a harvest mouse and some barley heads, rather than a horse.
L Quite rich golden colour. Head clears quickly to lacing.
S Fresh with a somewhat slight perfumed aroma, somewhere between citrus and lychee.
T Indeed, perfumed/lychee in spades on the front. Clean and light tailing into a perfumed dryish finish.
M Light for 4.5%. It feels like I could drink this (if I liked it) all night long and little might befall me.
O. The lable suggests it has 'floral hints of elderflower'. Perhaps that comes from the hops, as elderflower isn't listed as an ingredient. It's all quite too floral for me, and rather a distraction.

500ml bottle
5.0% ABV
Main/Bronte LCBO Outlet (Milton, Ontario, Canada)

$3.50
The beer poured a translucent gold colour with a 1/2" off white rocky head. The aroma was grassy malt, plenty of citrus (lemony), and spice. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is grainy malt, dish soap, light fruits, and a citrusy finish.

From a 500ml brown glass bottle.
L: Clear, golden amber colour. Two-fingers of foaming white head recedes to a decent cap leaving spotty lacing.
S: Floral and honeyed.
T: Light honey plus a hint of elderflower (as stated accurately on the label).
F: Light body, lovely smooth mouthfeel, a hint of carbonation and a dry-ish finish.
O: Lots of floral characteristics. Looks appealing. Very easy drinking. A solid English golden ale. Would be very good on a summer afternoon.

Orange - bronze. One finger of foam, decent.
A lively fruitiness in the smell, lightly spiced. Tea notes. A bit of orange-tangerine.
Similar note in the taste, a bit more fruity and flora. And a bit more sweet.
Some tea and light citrus in the aftertaste, on a malty base.
Light and refreshning, but not a masterpiece.

From bottle, pours a clear golden colour with a finger of white head that disapates quite quickly. Aroma floral, earthy, grassy. Taste orange, lemon, citrus, bready, biscuit. It's okay.

Now this is a delicious ale.Nice mellow caramel/toffee aroma, taste is similar with dry hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is creamy, with a light lingering dry finish. I could drink this one for a while.
