Mostly clear, deep orange color. Bubbly head with streak lacing. This is a solid rendition of that classic NW style IPA. Aroma is citrus, bread malt, grass, with some earthy qualities as well. Flavor is pine, grass, grapefruit and herbs. Big hops bite with some bread malt to balance it out. A good beer overall.

Orange-amber pour, huge head that lasts quite a while. Pine and citrus in the nose. The taste follows through, with citrus (bitter grapefruit, mostly) and pine easily identifiable, on top of a caramel-sweet backbone. Bitter-sweet finish, somewhat dry (which is a plus from me). Not a super complex beer, but I don't think it should be.

Very solid IPA which I consumed at their brew pub on SE Hawethorne in Portland. Groovy.
