Thanks to jcwattsrugger for sharing this recently purchased growler!

Pours golden with not much visible carbonation. A white head thins to a cover with some broken rings of lacing sticking.

The smell is bready/yeasty with some lemon and grain (with a touch of an orange-like character).

The taste is bready/yeasty - somewhat powdery/chalky - with a Continental-type hop spiciness and a touch of lemon. It has a dry finish.

Light-bodied - not watery, but could use more carbonation.

Drinkable for one or two, but a bit too yeasty. A homebrew-ish attempt at the style that comes across with characteristics of a typical brewpub blonde ale. Could be cleaner and crisper.

On-tap @ Triumph Brewing Co. in Princeton, NJ.

Pale gold color and clear with a white head. Sweet malt aroma with light spicy/herbal hops. Pretty strong yeast flavor with a fair amount of skunk to it. Spicy hop bitterness creates a dry finish. Medium bodied and easy to drink, just not as clean as I like in a Dortmunder. Paired well with the salmon sliders for lunch.

Not sure if this is the exact same version as the previous reviewer as this one was advertized to be 5.6% ABV but i think it's the same brew, just a few years later. Its color is absolutely clear straw gold with a solid white froth on top and tremendous lacing. The aroma is light yeasty dough and sunshine wheat, pretty clean and straight forward. The taste buds get sunny wheat and citrus hop ideas over a skunky yeast grain. Medium bodied, with mild carbonation it offers a real tingly feel. This is a very refreshing, drinkable brew with some guts. I would drink this again even though it's generally not a style I'm drawn to.
