A very strong contender for the style. Super clean, very light feel in comparison to the firm malt flavors. Well carbonated with good retention and lacing. Lightly fruity up front, but fades into a airy finish. Maybe a bit over-hopped, but nice earthy, modestly pungent flavor. MIldly dry; sort of a Witbier finish.

A bit on the timid side for the style, but, again, Boscos is aiming for solid but unchallenging to have a broad appeal. Poured a caramel-amber. Not quite as much malt as usually found in the style, and the hopping seemed a bit out of sorts in the profile. Pleasant enough - worth trying at least.

Had this on tap at the brewpub in Nashville. Pours a dark golden color with a small head that hangs around a while and leaves a little lacing on the glass. The aroma is very malty. Nice. The flavor has a great caramel malt with a hint of chocolate. Low bitterness. Smooth finish. Moderate body. Very enjoyable. One of the best Alts I've had.

Darker copper with a decent white head. The aroma is nicely malty. There is lots of sweet caramel in both the flavor and aroma and a bit of lemon zest underneath it all. Very soft on the palate. Not at all complex, but easy to drink and not too bland. I like it overall.

From a sampler: While nothing could ever compete with my favorite Akron/Macon Ale, this is still a good Alt. Pours a dark amber with a medium thin off-white head and thin lacing. Rich malty aroma. Medium bodied with smooth character, with well-rounded malt and hops. Sweet malty finish. I liked it.
