Thanks to cupbeerman for bringing me this brew from KClinger's on the Harrisburg trip. Appearance: Orange cloudy amber hue large frothy head caramle toned leaves thick upfront lacing throughout my pint. Aroma: Pine and citrus galore, they consume the aromatics a very hoppy brew utilizing one of my favorite hops Amarillo the malt profile is there to balance somewhat but this is one hoppy IPA. Taste: Strong hop bitterness nice citrus hop bursts, Amarillo hops definitely apparent my type of aggresively hopped beer wish this would find it's way into regular rotation. The flavor was a bit one dimensional, but I loved it wish I could have licked out the inside of the bottle for more hop bitterness. Mouthfeel: Raw resinous mouthfeel where hop oils flow down the palate some sediment chunks with hop leaves are evident giving it a slightly viscous texture, medium bodied great carbonation no complaints. Drinkability: To me it was amazing, I love the hop profile it brought out my true hop head side I could have definitely sampled another bottle, damn good IPA.

In a growler filled at N.Y.C.'s New Beer. Pours into a Belgian type tulip, just a few hours later. Clear, burnt copper, glowing amber, Initially soft and tiny bubble head, moderate retention showing and then just a tiny bubble sheen on the top and some super fine spotty lace left behind. Nose is of malt and bitter hop notes. Quite hoppy brew. Initial maltyness is quickly overtaken by a bitter, resiny hop assault. Being a hop fan, the overall impression is of a quite pleasant, hoppy AIPA, more high quality west coast style ale from the creative brewers of Rogue

A: Pours a hazy bright orange in color which is expected in an unfiltered brew. The tiniest of heads was noted along with very little spotty lace.
S: Sweet fruit and tons of floral notes. From fresh cut flowers to grass this one covers the floral spectrum.
T: A clean grassy floral flavor with a blast of nice sweet malt. Tinges of sweet fruits can be noted and believe it or not a touch of yeast.
M: Smooth and clean. Very crisp on the tongue.
D: I really enjoyed it. Enough to have two pints. One of Rogue's finest brews. Try it if you can find it.

Good medium honey amber pour with lasting white head. Smell is of big grassy, fruity, floral hops. Taste is grassy, hoppy, pretty bitter, and not as sweet malt or caramel backed as I prefer in IPAs, but this wasn't bad. Nice hoppy taste, a touch bland and feels like it needs something...Bit watery body too.

12 oz. on-tap at the Capital House in Richmond - brewed with 100% Amarillo hops and the menu declares it 6.2%. It arrives a clear copper, with low carbonation and a thin, khaki head that leaves nice lacing. Tropical and fruity in the nose, with sweet oranges dominating, but there are also earthy and caramelly notes. On the palate, the hops are quite bitter, tasting herbal and minty, with a touch of orange and pine flavors on top of toasted, biscuity, and caramel malts. Its medium body is quite dry, with medium carbonation, and imparting a long finish. Overall, it's a nice, West Coast IPA that is a treat on-tap.

This is a hard beer for me to review. I didn't like the beer when I drank it at a local beer bar. But compared to the overall style, i guess it is ok. I'm not a big fan of the IPA, they are just too fruity to me. So I'm trying to review this based on style, not on personal preferance. Recieved it on tap, at the flying saucer, it was in a pint glass, with a golden color, with a 2 finger head. The smell was citrusy, with a hint of orange jumping out at you. The taste was very fruity, had a more citrus taste than I was expecting.T he Mouthfeel was light. All in all this was an ok beer for me. Just not my personal preference.

Growler from State Line in Maryland.
One finger white head sits atop of a murky orange body that screams "IM A IPA...DRINK ME" Kick ass lacing that leaves rings as I drink my pint.
Very California citrusy,piney hop notes.
Citrus, piney hops leads to a small amount of malt. They may not have even put malt in this brew.Dank hop flavor attacks your palate.
Mouthfeel is heavenly and goes down pretty easy.
I like this stuff alot.Reallyeasy despite the abv. I will have again when I find it again.

Consumed vom Fass at Barley's Taproom in Greenville, SC. Hazy and amber in appearance with a respectable, sticky head leaving a lingering lace throughout. Huge aroma notes of piney goodness and citrus punch. Smooth on the palate, this brew found the right mix of malt and hops here... The hops are the story, no question. Fantastic flavors of fresh off the vine citrus and hoppy, juicy goodness. A fantastic brew, and one I can only hope comes back around next year in the Lockerstock offerings...
